Since Bishopscourt first opened 22 years ago, the practice has progressed from a 1 vet practice, consisting of a shed in the vets back garden, to a thriving 3 vet practice in a spacious, detached building. The facilities now available include; a large waiting and reception area, 2 consult rooms and separate kennels, diagnostic and surgical areas.

In July 2007, Medivet bought the practice after the previous owner retired. So we have now been part of the Medivet group for almost 1 year. To the front of the building there is plenty of free parking for all clients. Bishopscourt is managed by Senior vet Alvaro Ruiz- Gonzalez who is supported by 2 vets, 5 nurses and 3 receptionists, committed to caring for your pets. The branch is open week days and Saturday mornings, with our out of hours service at Southend. Bishopscourt is a small animal practice that is extremely well equipped for dealing with most cases that arrive through our door. We have lab facilities, ultrasound facilities and all up to date surgical equipment.

Bishopscourt Surgery is linked to all the other practices in the partnership via ADSL connection. This means that we can observe all emergency cases that are taken to Southend either out of hours or taken from us for over night care.

Bishopscourt operates on an appointment only system, so please call in advance. If calling out of hours, you will be redirected straight to Southend where everyone is willing to answer any questions and offer their help.
