Carly Sanborn - Head Veterinary Surgeon
I'm originally from Connecticut in the United States but have lived in the UK for about 7 years. I qualified in July 2011 from the RVC and worked for Hill's Pet Nutrition before joining Medivet in January 2012. I have a special interest in feline medicine and oncology along with a passion for client education and preventative medicine. When I am not working I enjoy travelling, baking and spending time with my fiancé Adam and our cat Kona.
There have been lots of positive changes over the last year or so to help us create an environment in which you and your pet can feel comfortable and welcome. Back in July 2010, we joined the Medivet Partnership. Consequently, we have become part of a large network of supporting practices, giving us access to high quality equipment, facilities and specialists in multiple disciplines of veterinary medicine and surgery. This means we can offer most treatments without having to send your pet to someone outside of Medivet, ensuring continuity of care from our dedicated team every step of the way.
Our doors are open from 8:30am till 7.00pm. You are always welcome to come in for an informal chat, introduce us to your pets or purchase any food and toys we have on offer.
To allow us to give both you and your pet all the attention you need, the clinic is run on an appointment basis. Our consultations run in the morning and late in the afternoon, but emergencies will be seen as a priority. To arrange an appointment please call us in advance and we can book you in at the best available time.
Because good pet care isn’t just about providing the best treatment available, we also stock a wide range of Hills Vet Essential and Prescription diets in order to give your companions the best nutrition. These diets can help with many medical conditions so feel free to ask in practice for any information on them.
