Andy BuchanAndy Buchan - Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I joined Heathlands in April 2012 and became a partner in the practice later the same year. I have spent most of my career working in small animal practice in Devon before choosing Heathlands as my professional home. My passion is surgery and in 2011 obtained the RCVS Certificate in small animal surgery (CertSAS) after four years of study. Areas of interest include soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, pain management and more recently MRI imaging. In my spare time I love to spend time with my children and still greatly miss my days on the rugby pitch.

Silver Status Cat Friendly Clinic

We have achieved an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation. This gives our cat owning clients peace of mind and reassurance, letting them know that:
Cat Friendly Clinic

  • We understand the needs of cats
  • We have a separate waiting area for cats
  • We have staff that are cat experts

If you would like to find out more about what our silver cat friendly status means for you, then please speak to one of our staff who will be happy to help.
