Medivet South Woodham Ferrers is housed inside a converted bungalow. It was originally set up by Scott Nimmo over 20 years ago and has been providing excellent veterinary care in the community ever since.
Our team of vets, nurses and client care assistants are always willing to help you in any way they can. You are always welcome to give us a call or pop in to see us, either with or without your pets.
We are pleased to offer a separate and designated cat only waiting area. This allows your feline friends to be undeterred by fellow dogs visiting the practice. We understand that a visit to the vet can be a stressful experience for all pets and we want to reduce this as much as possible.
We also have ample free parking available right outside the door to make your trip as convenient as possible.
Medivet South Woodham Ferrers prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming veterinary practice, with many long standing staff who all work to be an integral part of our local community. We feel this is reflected in our large and loyal client base and we are sure you will feel the same way too.

Charlotte Biddle – Head Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated with a BVSc from the University of Bristol. Before joining Medivet, I worked at a veterinary practice in Kent and then took on locum roles in Kent and Essex working with small animals and horses. I am interested in cardiology and exotics, particularly birds and wildlife. At home, I have a pink toed tarantula named Slippers! In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, walking and learning to sail.
Animal welfare is at the heart of all decisions or treatment choices we make here at Medivet South Woodham Ferrers. That’s why we believe that preventative pet health care is vitally important. Nevertheless, we understand sometimes your pet will require emergency veterinary care and unexpected treatment. You can always rest knowing that your pet can get 24-hour care at our Medivet Southend 24-Hour Hospital.
