Marta Gil Sanchez – Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
Following a lifetime dream, I studied both veterinary science and a classical music degree. I then secured a place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where I studied a few postgrads. During this time, I continued to keep in touch with vet practice and finally, in 2006 I settled with Medivet and embraced vet life for good. My passion is animal medicine and taking care of our client’s beloved pets. I also have a strong interest in cardiology and internal medicine. I have two cats of my own and I love spending time with them both.
Veronika Sevcikova – Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
I finished my studies in the Czech Republic in 2011 and worked in a small practice in Spain. I volunteered in a spanish greyhound rescue centre. I have moved to the UK to continue my professional development. I am particularly interested in feline medicine.
Stanstead Abbotts saw its first patients in 1961 when Mr and Mrs. Proven used their house as the clinic treating large and small animals. The practice we see today was then built onto the back of the house in the late 1970's. It was taken over by Mr Drew in the late 1980's and changed to a small animal clinic which became a part of the Medivet Group in June 2007.
