Leon Ringelmann - Veterinary Surgeon
I decided to become a vet around the age of six years old. I was very privileged to grow up on a farm in South Africa where it was common for farmer's children to have access to many animals. I was in the lucky position to have a very diverse portfolio of pets ranging from canaries, horses and lots in between. I am pleased to now have over 27 years of veterinary experience in a job I love more and more each day. I believe my previous practices were places where owners became friends and pets were family. I want Medivet Dartford to become such a place and I feel our clients would agree that this is already happening. I find great satisfaction in providing the best quality of care to each and every pet. I have sought to remain at the cutting edge of evidenced based medicine and surgery over the years; I am currently enrolled in a post graduate course in emergency and critical care medicine to expand my knowledge and experience in this new and growing field which I am enjoying immensely. If I have not had the pleasure to get to know you, I look forward to getting to know you and your pet should you need help or care to visit us here at Dartford.
The building now known as Enterprise House was originally constructed in the late 19th century as a Dartford Girls Grammar school for a while and then a technical college and Dartford Museum. It was converted into offices with a Veterinary Clinic on the lower ground floor you see today.
