Medivet Finsbury Park

We are a friendly, compassionate practice conveniently located on Blackstock Road, just around the corner from Finsbury Park Station. The practice has been serving the local community for 30 years, first as Abbey Vet, and more recently as MediVet. We are open until 7pm weekdays, and Saturday mornings, so you can visit at a time convenient for you.

We understand that your pet is a beloved member of your family and that you only want the best medical treatment available. At Medivet Finsbury Park, each individual pet is treated as if he or she is one of our own. At Finsbury Park, we are equipped for x-ray and surgery, and can perform a wide range of blood tests with next day results. We also have access to our state of the art hospital in Hendon, which is open 24/7 in case of an emergency with your pet. They are equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, CT and MRI scanners, as well as specialist vets in both medicine and surgery.

If there is anything we can do to make your visit to Finsbury Park easy and stress free, please do not hesitate to ask. We welcome all types of pets – dogs, cats, rabbits, even birds or reptiles!

We are happy to answer any queries you may have, so feel free to give us a call or pop by the practice for more information. If you pass by with your pet, there may even be a treat waiting for them!

Sian HumphriesSian Humphries - Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating from University of Cambridge in 2012, I worked primarily with dogs and cats in West London. Before starting in Finsbury Park, I volunteered on a small island in the Caribbean where they lack permanent vet care and hope to continue my involvement in animal charity endeavours wherever possible. I enjoy both medicine and surgery, but my special interests are emergency medicine and pet behaviour problems. At home, I have an adopted bearded dragon, called Punk, who is now three years old. Her favourite pastime is to run around my flat to see what I am doing! I look forward to meeting you and your pets and am thrilled with the opportunity to look after and treat a wide variety of pets here at Finsbury Park – including your small furries, birds and reptiles.

We run on a 15-minute appointment system, so that we can spend an accurate amount of time with each and every one of our patients. We aim to deliver first-class services of veterinary care backed up by friendly, personal and caring attitudes dedicated to providing service of the highest standard in a sympathetic and reassuring manner.  We look forward to meeting and helping you and your pets.
