Welcome to Medivet Barnes

Our friendly and modern practice is based in the beautiful, rural surroundings of South West London.

Our kind and caring team of veterinary professionals is managed by James Champion who grew up in Adelaide, Australia. We pride ourselves on giving the highest standard of veterinary care and customer service to all our clients, both existing and new.

Our practice comprises two consultation rooms, in-patient facilities for all animals and a modern, well equipped surgery which enables us to deliver the latest procedures to your pets, including laparoscopic surgery.

We understand your pet may require unexpected emergency treatment.  For specialised continuous care, we are able to refer patients to our 24 Hour Continuous Care and Emergency Centre in Richmond.

James ChampionJames Champion - Branch Partner & Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated in Perth, Western Australia in 1989 and went into mixed practice. I then travelled to the UK to do some locum work and finallly settled in Hong Kong for 2 years in a small animal practice, before returning to Australia and joining a large practice as a partner for 10 years. The UK finally beckoned and I returned here in 2007, joining Medivet as a partner in 2010.
