The Stanmore clinic was purchased from Tony Lewis in 1997, who enjoyed working with us until his retirement in 2005. Medivet Stanmore is managed by head clinician Rosamund Doyle, ably assisted by head nurse Abigail Phillips RVN. The veterinary clinic is an excellent training centre for vets and nurses. Many vets and nurses started their first career steps within the Stanmore clinic. The staff members at Medivet Stanmore clinic aim to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care tailored to each individual case. This will be backed up by a personal and caring attitude dedicated to providing service of the highest standard in a sympathetic, friendly and reassuring manner.
The clinic is open weekdays and Saturday mornings with after-hours support being provided by the Hendon branch. The Medivet Stanmore clinic has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is equipped to deal with most cases received at Stanmore. Further specialised equipment and 24 hour care is available to cases dealt with at Stanmore by transferring the cases to Hendon branch as and if required. In this way the Stanmore clinic is able to provide its patients with the full array of care provided by Medivet.
As with other Medivet surgeries the Stanmore surgery is linked to all other Medivet surgeries via computerised ADSL connections, a new technology allowing permanent high-speed links between all surgeries thereby allowing records to be accessed by other surgeries of Medivet at all times including times when Stanmore is closed. Medivet is dedicated to making use of the latest and most modern computer hardware, software and communications in providing excellence in record-keeping and transfer of clinical information within the Group.
The clinic also offers a range of Hills' Science Plan premium diets and a variety of pet products as well as advice on many issues such as pet passport, pet insurance, pet nutrition, weight control, dental care, flea control and much and much more.
The Stanmore veterinary clinic operates an appointment system - please call us and book prior to arrival (except for emergencies which are seen as a priority).
As with all Medivet surgeries, appointments are intended as a rough guide. In the interests of our patients, we may wish to give additional time to individual consultations. This may result in brief delays but all our clients will benefit from this by their pet receiving our fullest attention to their requirements. |
