The Twickenham Branch of Medivet has been part of the Medivet Group since December 2000 when it was first purchased from retiring practitioner Fred Waters and his partners, Andrew Butler and Karen Mason. Plentiful pay-and-display parking is available. Medivet Twickenham is managed by veterinary surgeon Sarah Baig, who is assisted by a team of nurses, student nurses and receptionists. The branch is open weekdays and Saturday mornings with after-hours support being provided by the Richmond branch. Medivet Twickenham has been extensively refurbished and upgraded and is equipped to deal with most cases received by Twickenham. Specialised equipment is available on-site and 24 hour care is available to cases dealt with at Twickenham by transferring the cases to Richmond branch as required. In this way Twickenham is able to provide its patients with the full array of care provided by Medivet. Twickenham is a warm, welcoming, professional practice with a great team of permanent staff. Along with catering for the general medical and surgical needs of your pets, our head vet is experienced in ultrasound scanning and we can offer cardiac and abdominal scans on site. As with other Medivet branches, Twickenham is linked to all other Medivet branches via computerised ADSL connections, a technology allowing permanent high-speed links between all branches thereby allowing records to be accessed by other branches of Medivet at all times including times when Twickenham is closed. Medivet is dedicated to making use of the latest and most modern computer hardware, software and communications in providing excellence in record-keeping and transfer of clinical information within the Group. Twickenham also offers a range of Hills' Science Plan premium diets and a variety of pet products as well as advice on many issues such as pet insurance, pet nutrition, weight control, dental care, flea control and much more. Twickenham operates an appointment system - please call (except for emergencies which are seen as a priority). As with all our branches, appointments are intended as a rough guide. In the interests of our patients, we may wish to give additional time to individual consultations. This may result in brief delays but all our clients will benefit from this by their pet receiving our fullest attention to their requirements. The staff at Twickenham aim to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care backed up by a personal and caring attitude dedicated to providing service of the highest standard in a sympathetic, friendly and reassuring manner. |
