I have been working as a vet continuously since I qualified in 1996. I have been a partner of Medivet since 2010. In 2017 I was awarded a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. In my family we have always loved pets both dogs and cats. I deeply enjoy my role caring for my clients and their pets.

Shireen Brewster

I qualified in 2014 at Utrecht University in Holland, where I grew up. I joined Medivet not long after as a resident in the South-West London area. After this period I floated in the Watford area before I became a lead vet at Medivet Redbourn Bridge House. After a couple of years I joined the lovely team at the Hemel Hempstead Marlowes practice. I have achieved a post-graduate certificate in Dermatology in 2021. I know personally how much our pets are part of the family as I grew up with them. I have my Ragdoll cat Snowie living back at home with my parents. I have recently rescued the sweetest British Shorthair cat named Barnaby who is living with me here.

Lucy Hamilton

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia in July 2017. Before this I gained a BSc Zoology degree from the University of Nottingham. I joined Medivet in 2017. I enjoy working with exotic pets, especially rabbits and small furries. I'm also interested in wound management which was the topic of my diploma thesis at university. At home I have three cats called Sam, Daisy and Sheldon, two rabbits called Dandelion and Lily and also a gorgeous chihuahua called Hazel. Outside of work I enjoy crafts such as knitting and relaxing with a good book. I also love to travel when I get the chance.

I’ve been with Medivet since 2015 and have been the Head veterinary nurse at Hemel since 2019. I also have an extended diploma in Animal management. At home I have an American bulldog called Milo. I am currently studying for a Certificate in Anaesthesia.

I’ve been with Medivet for just over two years and have worked at the Marlowes practice for most of this time. I’ve also gained a diploma in Animal Management. I have a lovely sausage dig called Bertie.

I have worked for Medivet for 3 years now, but have only been part of this lovely team for about 18 months. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and currently have three cats at home. I am a student veterinary nurse at the moment but am also training to become an SQP.

I started with Medivet 2 years ago and am currently studying with College of Animal Welfare. At home I have a cat called Mr.Kitty, a praying mantis called Marinda and a snake called Nigella. My interests within nursing are; pharmaceuticals and patient care.

I recently started with Medivet, and am looking forward to starting college to train to become a veterinary nurse. At home I have a German Shephard called Daisy and a cat named Borys. My interests with nursing are anaesthesia and medical nursing.
