I really enjoy meeting people and being part of a Professional Team plus I love animals which is why I am in my element as the Customer Care Assistant here at Medivet Clerkenwell. When I am not at work I am either at home in the garden with my two gorgeous cats Coffee and Pepper or am out making the most of London, especially the performing arts . I also have been known to do some singing and dancing myself in the occasional Am Dram production. I enjoy the occasional escape to the Country but I am a City girl at heart. I have a keen interest in landscape and habitats in and around the UK, my passion is to garden for Wildlife in an urban environment. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet(s) and helping you get the most out of our practice by familiarising you with the services and products we have available for your pets best care

My partner's dog sadly had to be put down last April because of heart failure. Whilst the decision was right, the practice and the vet made the situation traumatic. The vet gave very little information as to what was going to happen unless explicitly asked - such as how the procedure to euthanize would actually take place. The whole process was very confusing and the vet seemingly uncomfortable, with a brusque attitude and at times laughing nervously during the appointment. Our dog was put down while standing on the examination table without my partner being able to hold her properly. We weren't given the option to hold our dog on one of our laps, taking away my partner's ability to be here for her dog in her last moments. We didn’t realise the vet had given the final shot until the dog collapsed on the table, leaving my partner screaming in panic and me in a state of complete shock. All this could have been avoided by proper communication and understanding of the seriousness of the situation. The vet was incapable of providing this for us and caused a lot of unnecessary trauma because of the lack of professionalism. We issued a formal complaint directly to the practice, and received a response effectively denying all points we raised. We were disgusted by our experience, robbing us of the ability to find peace in our dog's passing.

I went to this vet to get a rabies vaccine and rabies certificate for travel to the EU. This could not have been a more frustrating experience. The vets and staff here obviously have no clue what is necessary for travel. First they neglected to tell me that it would be necessary to wait 21 days to apply for a Health Certificate after the rabies shot. I understood that I could travel in 21 days, but did not know that it would take 21 days to get a Health Certificate. As a result of this incomplete info, I booked a flight 21 days out. Then when I finally found a vet who could give me an appointment the morning of the day of travel, they informed me that the rabies certificate was incomplete. Then I called to say this and was told they would email me a new certificate within 30 minutes, and that I would pick up the original copy on Monday. They didn't send me the form by 1.5 hours later, so I called back and was told that it was a misunderstanding (!!!!). This is completely ridiculous and I am extremely angry with this vet office.

So grateful to Medivet Clerkenwell for helping me with my gorgeous kitty Elena. She was waking us every night around 3am trying to go outside. The vet gave me something which helps keep her calm and the toturous scraping sound has stopped. So happy! So grateful 🙏 You guys are wonderful! Best wishes Aileen ( mum of Elena cat )
