Our cat, Zena, was hospitalised for 3 days (and then even readmitted again for another 3 days) with pancreatitis. It was hugely stressful time for her, and ourselves. Especially since she was misdiagnosed by our previous vet, which left her still sick, and incredibly scared! May we, first of all, thank the MedivetHendon for restoring our faith in your profession, as they were the only one who provided emergency home visit, then correctly diagnosed, well treated, and understood our frightened cat. At our previous vets, the appointments always went with vet talking about the prices first, and then asking us to choose the treatment (!!), while at Medivet we’ve experienced the complete different approach, and PRIORITISING the animal above all; Medivet first tells us what is best to do, what should be done, and only after that about money. Also (again, unlike our previous vet), all our phone calls, and all our questions to the staff were promptly and properly answered. It really appears that they - at Medivet- absolutely do care for the animals. With many thanks to Karolina Iskra, Vera Bianchi, Jerry Dunne, Vlad Tipisca, Natalia Parrilla, and of course other stuff, whose names we (deeply apologetic for this) - didn’t manage to register out of our distress at Zena’s illness. With warmest regards from the Kornioukhov family (Vladimir, Elena, Natalia, and Zena).

My dog, Toulouse, was recently referred to Medivet Hendon for spinal surgery conducted by Dr. Richard Leonard. The level of service and care both my dog and family received cannot be paralleled. The entire team - from the client support through to the nursing and surgeons were excellent. Of note, Sasha Potter of the nursing team went above and beyond in updating us and making sure we knew that Toulouse was being looked after. Thank you to Jerry Dunne for taking the time to provide a 360 overview of the procedure and aftercare. Both Sasha and Jerry are the personification of what the best veterinary care looks like. I cannot recommend Medivet Hendon enough.

HELPED US WITH OUR HAMSTER We arrived to the 24 hour vets at 1am with a very sick hamster, and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. As it was 1am we were not able to find a rodent specialist but the vet at medivet was very insightful and professional. We had just come from a different 24 hour vet closer to our home who were very unprofessional and were unwilling to help us or take us seriously with our sick hamster, and suggested we just 'left it and see what happened'. After this we rang several 24 hour vets (as our hamster was in such a bad state) and medivet hendon was the only vet who thought that they could help with a hamster. it was reassuring for us to be able to go to a vet who performed an inspection and was able to give us help. I dont know if all of their vets would be as good with rodents, but I am very grateful towards the staff who were able to help us at a very stressful time.

Excellent on every level. I first brought my Great Dane Kara to the Medivet Hendon practice on a Saturday, months ago. They were very welcoming on the phone and fast to get us an emergency appointment. We had been to a different hospital in the past, where she had been treated efficiently, but not fully diagnosed. She had to be hospitalised for the whole weekend and underwent an extensive number of tests. Within a day, they had a good idea of the diagnosis, which they soon confirmed. A long term plan was made, which aimed at being the least intrusive and most effective (as opposed to suggesting costly procedures aimed at making a profit instead of prioritising her well being, which has unfortunately been the case in the past with other practitioners we visited). Throughout her stay in hospital, the level of care and consideration was impeccable. I could tell that she was treated with kindness and respect, as she looked comfortable the whole time and was happy to see the doctors and nurses during our subsequent visits. Medivet also accept Petplan - not only do they charge their services very reasonably compared to other veterinary practices, but the whole process is seamless when you're insured (we literally paid only the excess and they handled every aspect of the claim). Huge thanks to everyone at this practice - you guys have earned my gratitude, trust and respect.
