I graduated in 2005 from the Royal Veterinary College and went straight into mixed practice where I remained for five years. I then spent seven years at a small animal charity where I developed an interest in surgery while undertaking an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour. Since coming to Medivet in August 2017, I have continued developing my interests further and have enjoyed learning keyhole spays. I am a cat advocate as part of the Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation scheme at Medivet Leamington Spa.

I became a vet in 2001 after qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in London. I previously worked in small animal practice in Derby for two years and at Medivet Kenilworth since 2003, before moving to Leamington Spa permanently in 2019. My job is always interesting thanks to my varied caseload, both medical and surgical.

Having graduated as a vet in Liverpool University in 2004 , I spent my first 6 years in mixed practice in Yorkshire then South Worcestershire - both jobs having considerable on-call duties alongside busy daytimes. I then became a small animal day vet in Redditch for 5 years, starting the practice with ultrasonography and chemotherapy as well as honing my general surgical and medical knowledge. I became a night vet in South Wales for 5 years and have enjoyed emergency and critical care ever since. I joined Leamington Spa in the summer of 2020 as a night vet and relish a variety of cases.

Following my graduation from USAMV Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 2020, I immediately started working in the UK. Since starting working I was fortunate enough to join the team over at the Leamington Spa Hospital which helped and guided me through my first year as a new graduate. My interests are surgery and neurology but I also enjoy ophthalmology and imaging. Looking forward I would like to improve on these skills and start a certificate as well.

They are amazing....its that simple. Always super friendly whenever I call or email with quick responses. Zoe the nurse is so friendly and approachable, who really cares for the animals. All the staff I have come across have been lovely. I see the staff cleaning ensuring everything is kept clean and tidy. Parking can be a pain due to having to find parking at busy times. I have our 2 rabbits and dog registered at this vet and I wouldn't have them anywhere else. I also take out the dog health plan and rabbit health plan which are both super affordable.

My dog had an unfortunate accident, which resulted in needing surgery. Due to unforseen circumstances a second surgery was needed. I felt the team handled it well, their communication was second to none, they kept me fully informed of what had happened and how we could move forward. Whilst my dog may not have the perfect outcome I had hoped for, I have every faith that the team has done their very best for her. I would highly recommend Felton Animal Hospital and more importantly getting your pets insured! (Mine wasn't - my bad!) Special thanks to Hugh, Patricia and the teams (sorry can't remember all the names) who took care of Dief

My vets close at 7 pm, and our 3-month-old Frenchie looked to be showing an allergic reaction between 7-7:30 pm. I called through to my vets, which had a voicemail message with the Medivets number to call. The lady I spoke to was quick with the details and told us to safely get there as quickly as we could. It really was touch and go when we got to the practice, as Ernies breathing was starting to struggle, they were quick to get us in and see to Ernie. After about 30 minutes, the gentleman vet came out to see us with an update. They had put Ernie on oxygen, IV drip and given him a steroid injection so far he was responding to it well, but they wanted to check in with us again in another hour to see how he was getting on. After an hour, they said his swelling had reduced, and he seemed his playful self again. In total, we were there for around 2-3 hours. Luckily, that day, my vet had set us up with 4 weeks of free puppy insurance with pet plan while we shopped around. I confirmed it as soon as I got home, which I'm so glad I did to help as we will be able to claim the costs back. Everyone in the practice was lovely, and I honestly can not thank them enough for their care and service. They thoroughly took us through everything they had done and what we needed to do for aftercare, which really put us at ease. As first-time dog owners, it was honestly a very stressful and upsetting process for us both to feel so helpless in that moment but knowing you're doing the right thing by your dog. I'm just grateful that there are out of hour services like this to help! ❤ There are car spaces right outside the practice and a local car park right next to it. It was very easy to find and only 20-25 minutes drive from where we live, which was a blessing!

The reception staff were warm and welcoming when I arrived. The vet, Hugh, was very knowledgeable and I was immediately struck by his caring toward both my sick dog and myself. He called on the day following the appointment to ask how she was. I was touched by his kindness and understanding of how much I cared for my dog. Yes, I would definitely recommend this vet.

Exceptional vets. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Felix, Emma, and Zoe as well as the lovely receptionists always make us feel cared for. You can never ask too many questions, and they phone to check up on the kittens after appointments. It's always a pleasure going to the vets, which I have never experienced before as a cat owner. If only we could get this lovely service as human beings! Thanks from Sundance Kid and Calamity Jane.
