I qualified in 1999 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and completed an internship in small animal surgery and anaesthesia in 2002. I moved to the UK in 2003 to work as a small animal vet for two other practices in Sussex and Surrey, and joined Sutton in August 2008. I became a partner here in August 2017. Over the years I’ve gained knowledge and expertise in all aspects of surgery; soft tissue and orthopaedics, radiography, analgesia and rehabilitation following musculoskeletal disorders. I also recently completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

I qualified in 2003 from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining the team at Sutton in August 2014 I worked in a busy practice in Birmingham for 11 years. I became a partner at the Sutton surgery in August 2017. I gained a certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2010 and am an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. My passions are feline and canine medicine, diagnostic imaging and cardiology. I am unable to imagine life without my cat, Phoebe, who has settled in well to London life.

I qualified in 2017 from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, following which I completed an internship abroad in Germany, where I learned different skills and acquired more experience in small animal medicine. I moved to the UK in 2018 and am keen to use my skills and learn new techniques. My particular interest is internal medicine and I get great satisfaction in seeing a pet’s health improve after treatment. I have one orange cat called Nino back in Portugal, which I hope to bring to the UK soon, and recently adopted a Londoner cat, Pintas.

I graduated in 2014 from the University of Parma in Italy. Before joining Wingrave in 2019, I worked in small animal practice in Sidcup Kent for 3 years where I gained experience in all aspects of first opinion work. I’m studying towards the completion of the Post Graduate Certificate in small animal medicine. I’m also interested in Medical Oncology and spent a year working with a specialist in this field in Rome after qualification. I own two lovely cats, Ozzy and Nana, now happily living with my family.

I’ve been working as a nurse at the Epsom and Sutton branches since 2013 and qualified from small animal vet training in 2018. I became the head nurse of Sutton in October 2018. Prior to joining, I completed many volunteer placements working with animals. I have a keen interest in emergency and critical care and am looking to complete my certificate in the future. I also enjoy nursing both the medical and surgical patients, as well as working in theatre and supporting the student nurses as a clinical coach. I’ve grown up with animals all my life and recently rescued a stray cat called Maggie, who has made herself quite at home.

They are more expensive than other vets, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My cat has had quite a few medical problems and the care is exceptional. Both Liz and Michael are fantastic as are the other vets, nurses and receptionists. I wish I could take everyone with me when I move, they are going to be so missed.

Such caring and compassionate staff. Unfortunately our only experience of this surgery was to hand over our beloved cat who had passed away. The way they dealt with his passing and cremation was very sensitive and the lovely card containing his paw print and a cutting of his fur in a small bottle was a very beautiful gesture.

We use the Coulsdon/Chipstead surgeries primarily - but have also used their Sutton one too for emergencies. They really are a fantastic veterinary practice, very helpful with incredibly nice vets and assistants. Highly recommended - oh and having read one of the reviews on here - I have found there prices to be perfectly in line with what any other vets charge in the area

I highly recommend Wingrave and am impressed with the nowledge, care and prossionslism of all the staff.. As an anxious pet owner there is nothing worse than having to wait for the surgery to open which is never an issue as they are open 24 hours. My rabbit needed emergency care and was seen within 15 minutes of me making a phone call, after a day of TLC at the practice I was able to collect her the same day. Unlike some vets they try to keep the cost to a minimum and even gave us the option of waiting a further 2 hours for a consultation to keep the cost down which was most considerate.

I was extremely impressed with my first visit to Medivet Sutton, with my cat Dylan. The separate waiting areas for cats and dogs was a very welcome sight and made the short wait stress free. Carla was very welcoming and friendly, we discussed flea and worming treatments and she gave general advice on cat health. I felt unhurried and had all my questions answered. The receptionist was chatty and friendly as I waited for my treatments and best of all, Dylan was calm. Five star service all the way.

Registered today and was given an appointment within 1 hour for my sick dog ( I had been let down by our Vets of over 15 years in Banstead when they could not even manage to call us back yesterday, as promised, after we made 2 phone calls to them. This morning they were not even answering their phone at the Banstead branch ). In desperation I rang Medivet who are local and had good Google Reviews. I explained the problem with our dog, as I had done with my previous Vet’s receptionist yesterday, and the fact that both myself & my partner are ill so wanted to discuss our dog before making, what may be unnecessary, taxi arrangements. I have had a stroke and am recovering from the ‘flu. The lady was so helpful, patient, kind and most of all understanding of our situation overall and offered us an appointment straight away. She even offered help to get our dog into the surgery. So thoughtful. We saw Dr Michael Fassas. He thoroughly examined our dog and gave his impression of what he thought was the likely issue, but also the other things it could be. He explained simply and in a way I understood because of my stroke. Our dog was treated there and given medication for a week. I was reassured by Dr Fassas that there was 24hour care available for our dog and I should return if her condition worsens, or call if I needed any clarification or help. The cost was reasonable too. I have made the decision to transfer the care of my dog to Medivet immediately from the previous Banstead practice ( because I am a nice person I am not naming this Vet until they respond to my complaint). Whilst I was there I saw two other happy dogs with their happy owners. The place was clean and, unlike my previous Vet who doesn’t provide every service at Banstead which has meant previous trips to Reigate & Tadworth branches, all services are provided at a Medivet in one place. It makes sense to me. It’s also worth noting that they also have separate reception areas for dogs and cats/small animals. Most of all I got the care I expect for my dog today, and I feel confident in Medivet moving forwards.
