I qualified in 1999 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and completed an internship in small animal surgery and anaesthesia in 2002. I moved to the UK in 2003 to work as a small animal vet for two other practices in Sussex and Surrey, and joined Sutton in August 2008. I became a partner here in August 2017. Over the years I’ve gained knowledge and expertise in all aspects of surgery; soft tissue and orthopaedics, radiography, analgesia and rehabilitation following musculoskeletal disorders. I also recently completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Such a great experience. We had to put our cat down and the team were amazing especially as I was a blubbering mess. Such a great vet surgery, all the team including receptions and super kind and helpful. I think it was Paolo that did the euthanasia and he was brilliant. We cannot thank you enough

Last week I attended this veterinary to register my pet for service. I was expressly told by a receptionist that as my dog had never been seen by them before/ they had no history on her, etc. I should book a double appointment with a senior vet for a consult rather than a routine flea and worming appointment. She informed me that there was a junior tenure vet available sooner, who routinely dealt with flea and worming; however, she stated I should not schedule our initial appointment with her, but rather with one of the branch partners for a more comprehensive consult. She recommended a Dr. Paolo. She then scheduled a double appointment with Dr. Paolo, but I had to subsequently, reschedule my appointment, as I was unable to attend on the scheduled date and time. When I did attend for my rescheduled appointment, the less senior tenure vet had been assigned to our visit. Based on the prior guidance received from the receptionist, I asked if she was the junior vet. She took great offence and became very defensive in her communications with me, stating with righteous indignation that she was not a junior vet and was as qualified as any other vet. I apologised that I was not trying to be offensive and was only referring to length of time at the vet rather than her qualification. I explained the guidance that had been given to me by the receptionist, hence my question. She seemed quite annoyed and condescendingly told me I had not understood what I had been told! Based upon that unfortunate miscommunication and interaction, I re-booked my appointment for the following day. The next morning, I received correspondence entitled “sacking letter” from them, referencing mutual trust and confidence, and alleging that I had not been respectful, therefore they refuse to provide service to my pet. What an egregious display of a lack of business acumen! With such antics and on reading other reviews, I’m actually grateful to have dodged the proverbial bullet and not be attending there with my pet.

Needed emergency weekend treatment for my dog. Immediate responses and after care at Epsom practice were brilliant, and communication at all times was excellent, especially in the follow up days.

We waited over a week (with several chasers) for a quote for a minor procedure that we were promised 4 times would be with us by the “end of the day”. When it did arrive it was extortionate - £1700 for removal of a small mass. Whilst the receptionist was helpful, the “partner” utterly refused to give any explanation for the high costs or give any discount for making us wait. By comparison, a spay procedure cost c£350 but the same general anesthetic used for this they were charging over £900! Apparently prices are “set by head office” After we challenged them and requested explanation of the charges we received an email saying that they would no longer be willing to treat our dog because it should be built on “trust and respect”. Trust and respect is earned and you failed to do so!
