I qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2010 after receiving a BSc in Animal Sciences from Rutgers University in America. I joined the Thirsk team in 2013 and became a practice partner in 2019. I love bonding with clients and their pets and am often found consulting. I joined the practice in 2020. I qualified from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover in 2016 and previously worked in the south before moving up north. I'm currently studying towards gaining my surgical certificate. The surgical techniques I will gain will mean we can offer our patients the best care available. I'm also passionate about feline veterinary medicine and am working towards becoming the clinic’s cat advocate.

I joined the practice in 2021 after previously working in London and Devon. I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017 and although originally from the south I enjoy being in Yorkshire where I can pursue my interests of horse riding, painting, and dog walking in beautiful areas. I'm interested in medicine and am working towards gaining my Advanced Practitioner status in internal medicine, which means I'm undertaking further education which is both practical and theoretical in order to provide advanced medicine consultations to our patients.

I qualified in 2017 and joined the team in 2019 after working in Stockton. I love looking after patients, either in theatre, on wards, or in nurse clinics. I especially love nursing pets to feel better, watching their personalities return and bonding with them. At home I have a rescue cavalier king charles spaniel called Oscar, who is quirky but very loveable. I'm also a keen gardener and like walking Oscar all over the countryside.

I started working at the practice in 2019 as a Patient Care Assistant and then became a Student Veterinary Nurse. Having grown up on a farm, I was keen to work with animals and veterinary nursing has always been a job I wanted to pursue. I thoroughly enjoy the practical aspects of the job and I have a growing interest in laboratory work as I find it fascinating what can be seen under the microscope. At home I have an elderly dog called Swift, who is an unusual cross - jack Russel and border collie. She loves being outside and going on walks. I also have a lovely rescue rabbit who is very affectionate. When I have spare time, I like to go for walks and explore the countryside with my friends.

Excellent care at both routine visits and an emergency visit following my pup's accident. The consideration shown to myself and my granddaughter at this distressing visit was exceptional.

took good care with jasper. my Yorkie as pancreatitis. spent the night with you last night. he's home and settled now. seemed like they really did care about the animals. they listened to my experience of the disease and my knowledge of yorkies. so were able to get a good care plan going for him. there is one medication he came home with which I will not give him. but I'm sure I can find a holistic medication for him. so if you have any suggestions please let me know.

I have no words for how wonderful everyone at Skeldale vets has been with my gorgeous Roxie. She means everything to me and everyone at the surgery understood and she was treated like royalty. She’s such a nervous cat but she was more than happy and very content with everyone at Skeldale - something I’ve never seen before in her 11 years with previous veteniry centres. Her health has now fully returned, I couldn’t be a happier mummy and Roxie couldn’t be a happier pussycat. Unbelievably highly recommended, this surgery really does care about your gorgeous pets and will do everything and anything to ensure they’re well.

Excellent veterinary surgery for all animals. Over the years they have treated all our dogs, horses and small animals. We travel over 30 miles and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. We have 2 extremely nervous Cyprus rescue dogs and all the staff are so considerate and patient with them and even offer free socialising appointments which are bringing our dogs confidence on in leaps and bounds.
