I am originally from Italy, where I studied at the University of Bologna before moving to the UK. I started working in a busy charity and then joined the Medivet family at Watford. I have always loved surgery, and achieved a Postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2015 and an Advanced PG Certificate in Orthopaedic surgery in 2019. Outside work I love travelling and sports in general such as climbing and kayaking. I also have a very sweet cat at home called Marcella, and a very cheeky dog called Bruno.

I qualified from Liverpool University in 2007 and went on to gain my Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Medicine in 2014. I am one of the main consulting vets in Watford but also perform a lot of ultrasounds and imaging. I really enjoy talking to owners and helping their pets when they come for a heath check or if they're poorly. I know personally how much our pets are part of the family; my children and I dote on our two rehomed stray cats, Sebastian and Pulga.

I grew up in Sheffield then moved down south to graduate from Cambridge Vet School in June 2015. I then undertook the graduate programme with Medivet later that year. I have been with Medivet ever since and have worked permanently in the Watford Hospital since 2016. I have recently completed my certificate in Advanced Veterinary practice and enjoy all areas of internal of internal medicine, but have a particular interest in endocrinology. I also enjoy abdominal Ultrasonography. I spend my spare time at the gym, baking, and walking my terrier cross Bernie.

I have been with Medivet for a few years now. In that time I have gained so much knowledge, skills, and experience, which helped me to qualify as a Registered veterinary nurse. I have an elderly cat called Scoochie at home who is obviously the queen of the house.

I had my pet booked in for a health check with the vet to which I pay a monthly fee for. When I mentioned as its a health check, my dogs ears needed to be looked at, I get told that to look I'll have to pay a consultation fee to which inthought is unfair if I've already got an appointment an d also paying a monthly health plan fee!!

Poor service and compassion. Very low standards of care. Over use of drugs and heard now of many pets dying during routine ops. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Terrible experience from this franchise vet. Cat went in for a surgery, received a call if we’d like to euthanise our cat if this went bad, which we declined. We are then told he didn’t make it and see a euthanasia injection added to the end of the bill.

Worst veterinary practise to possibly go to! Perfectly fine with treating and being around my American XL Bully until the ban came into place. Ever since then the head vet of the practise adopted an attitude with my dog and even refused to treat her because she huffed and puffed and him. When I challenged the vet about this, his answers were very different to the answers he had given my partner about my dogs attitude and actions. Those who knew my dog (Nova) who was very popular in the local community knew she is the most harmless puppy with the sweetest and most calm temperament. I took her to be spayed as required by law and mid procedure she supposedly ‘crashed’ and passed away. This is a procedure which has a fatality rate of 0.2%! Carried out by a surgeon with 17 years of experience! When the vet was questioned about the procedure his answers defer from what the health report states. (Habitual liar?) When asked what actually happened the answer I received from the main vet was ‘I don’t actually know’. With someone of so many years experience carrying out a pretty routine procedure with such a low failure rate how can you not know what has occurred? Complete and utter liars with absolutely no compassion. Not a single apology or ‘sorry for your loss’ from any member of the Medivet Team. Just think twice about leaving your pets life in the hands of these thieving lying killers.

Very caring staff members for the pets. Always happy to help and patience making sure you understand every piece of information. The only downside of this practice is that sometimes the staff members at the front desk will just ignore you. You have to talk loudly so they will acknowledge you are there. The other day one of the girls saw me standing there for 15minutes after coming to an appointment and after eye contact she turned away checking some stuff on the computer and rushed away. She could have at least say someone will be with your shortly ir something..

Highly recommend Medivet, they care about how much you care about your pet and make you feel comfortable whilst applying the highest degree of medical care to your animal. You were involved in the treatment of your pet and in the decisions made. I came away feeling that the "right" things had been done for my dog which ultimately made her better. Thank you Medivet.
