Scunthorpe Practices in 10-mile Sponsored Glow Walk
Caring colleagues from three of our Scunthorpe-area practices went ‘glow-walking’ in the moonlight on Friday 14th June in aid of a cause that’s close to their hearts.
Teams from Medivet Ashby, Medivet Crowle and Medivet Brigg donned their walking boots and brightly coloured clothes and joined hundreds of others on a 10-mile sponsored Glow Walk in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, which provides palliative care for people with life-limiting illnesses and support for their families.
“Some of our team members have had loved ones at Lindsey Lodge,” said Lizzie Woodcock, CCA at Medivet Ashby.
“The care, love and compassion the staff at Lindsey Lodge put into their working days and nights for both inpatients and day patients is breathtaking and we know the Hospice has touched many hearts within our region. That’s why we’re hoping colleagues will support our teams and dig deep for a worthy cause. It would mean the world to them”.
