Medivet Laindon Earns Outstanding Industry Recognition
An Essex veterinary practice has been awarded the highest industry recognition for its ‘outstanding’ customer service after a recent assessment.
Medivet Laindon was awarded the top honour under the Practice Standards Scheme run by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
The RCVS scheme is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK. Through setting standards and carrying out regular assessments, it aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care.
Before awarding the accreditation, an inspection team from the RCVS assessed all aspects of Medivet Laindon’s work. The inspectors also observed the team in action and this week the practice, on High Road, received a follow-up report based on the inspection, which confirmed its ‘outstanding’ status.
Medivet Laindon vet and Branch Partner, Dr Antonis Dimitriou, said: “As a team we have always tried to provide the very highest standards of care to our patients and to their owners. We set our sights on receiving accreditation under the Practice Standards Scheme and preparing for the inspection was a real team effort. We are delighted that our hard work has paid off and that the level of service we strive to provide every day was recognised by the RCVS.
