Night Training Programme

Would you like to work in Emergency and Critical Care, but haven’t got the experience yet? How about we train you to get there?

  • Train for 2-3 months during the day
  • Then train 2-3 months on nights with our dedicated night vets
  • Get paid during your training months
  • Have a job guarantee as a night vet with excellent pay afterwards – working to an attractive 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota

We’ll help you build trust and confidence in your own skills, take the pressure off and avoid many of the stresses that can really get you down. Your on-the-job training will include days to gain other essential skills, such as lab interpretation, communication workshops and customer service training.

We have positions across the UK and will accommodate your location requests as much as possible.

We currently have eleven 24-hour Main Centres in the below locations with two more in the pipeline at Thurnscoe, Yorkshire and Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

That job will include a dedicated Buddy to help you settle into your new role. They will be your first point of contact for clinical or other advice, and they’ll help make your integration into the Medivet family as smooth as possible.

Night Training Programme benefits package:

  • During the training period: Package of up to £31,500 incl an accommodation allowance and a vehicle
  • After the training period: Package of up to £43,000 incl an accommodation allowance and a vehicle
