Assistant Veterinary Surgeon - Kensington - Full Time

Kensington, Central London

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Kensington.

The successful candidate will have five years' experience, ideally with a specialism or interest in surgery or imaging.

About the practice;

The practice is currently operating out of a charming, small mews practice in the heart of Kensington with a real olde worldly feel - they will be moving next year to a bespoke larger hospital building on Gloucester Road.

This practice is led by an experienced Branch Partner who has worked in the clinic for over 30 years; there is also another full-time vet of approx. ten years' experience, who is working towards a certificate in ophthalmology.

The clinic is excellently equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser and more. Here, you will benefit from a very varied caseload with support from the vets in the clinic and in the region.

The team is made up of three vets (including you!) three RVNs, one PCA and CCA. They are a lovely warm and inviting team who are excited about the move to the new hospital and are dedicated to the standards of the care to the animals they look after.

Medivet Kensington is right in the centre of London and in time will becoming a 24-hour centre. The clinics clientele are dedicated to their animals and expect the high level of veterinary care we provide.

The branch is very near Hyde Park and Gloucester road tube is about a 10-minute walk. There are plenty of cafes and bars close by for after work winding down and team outings.
