Head Veterinary Nurse - Mat Cover Wexham - Full Time

Wexham, Berkshire

Job Description:

We are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join us in our lovely practice in Wexham.

This is a maternity cover contract, with a view to start February-March 2019.

About the role;

Medivet Wexham is a RCVS accredited small animal practice, equipped with a large waiting area and prep room, theatre, dental equipment, in-house lab, separate cat and dog wards; you'll also have access to MRI, CT Imaging, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, ECG at our local Medivet clinics.

This practice has a small (but fantastic) team for such a large branch, including experienced Lead Vet, Emma who has been with Medivet for five years and Paul, the Student Veterinary Nurse. You'll also have the support from our 24-hour hospital in Watford for any out-of-hour care.

All of our head nurses are provided with dedicated support from our Support Centre. Here, the stress of managing your rota, recruitment, H&S, practice standards, marketing (and much more!) is taken care of, and while there are still admin duties involved in your role, this support will allow you to spend more time managing your team and doing what you love, nursing!

Medivet Wexham neighbours the beautiful Langley Park and is near a number of historic British tourist attractions including Windsor Castle. Wexham sits just an hour away from London and is short 15-20-minute journey to Heathrow Airport.
