My daughter brought her guinea pig in on the Monday as she was struggling to breathe. She was told she was fit and healthy, the vet spent 1 minute with her and charged her £40. By Thursday night she was obviously very ill so we rang early Friday. We were told there were no appointments and to ring Boston or wait til Monday...we explained that by Monday she would be dead and could we just have a repeat prescription from her last chest infection. We were told no and if Monday was no good go to Boston if they could fit us in. We went to another local vets later that day who informed us that our pet was incredibly ill and prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicine for a fraction of what we pay at Quarrington. It's touch and go and we hope she will get better no thanks to Medivets... corporate profit over care. 1 star is too high

Everyone I’ve spoken to at Medivet Quarrington has been lovely, from the person I registered with, to the lady that booked a consultation for me, to the vet I saw. Welcoming and friendly staff make all the difference at a veterinary clinic and it was a welcome change to my previous practice. Thank you.

We have been at Quarrington for years, but recently moved to Sleaford Vets as enough was enough. Both our dogs fell foul to the Medivet mantra - money at any cost. A lot of decisions were made that just were not in the dogs’ best interest and that was a shame as there are some good vets there. They have just lost their way from the original ideals they had when they first opened - not under medivet. Yes, it’s super efficient looking, great parking and the staff are friendly. But the treatment fell short when money was the focus. We ended up going to Pride in Derby after our little dog got an infection, from an operation. The best, best thing about Quarrington are the reception staff (bar one difficult lady). They really care. Lynette and Angie are really fantastic, I can’t thank them enough for the care those reception staff have genuinely shown.
