Dear MEDIVET team, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional medical care that my cat, Bella, received under the care of Arnold Hegedus MRCVS, Night Veterinary Surgeon on Saturday night 3rd March 2024 at your MEDIVET clinic. The quality of knowledge, expertise, and professionalism demonstrated by Arnold Hegedus MRCVS, Night Veterinary Surgeon and the entire veterinary team exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warmth and compassion shown by the staff and Arnold Hegedus MRCVS Throughout examination and clear explanations of Bella's condition and treatment options put my mind at ease. Their dedication to providing the best possible care for Bella was evident throughout the entire process. Not only did Arnold Hegedus MRCVS address Bellas's medical needs effectively, but they also took the time to answer all of my questions and provide valuable advice on how to maintain Bellas's health moving forward. Their commitment to both the physical and emotional well-being of animals is truly commendable. I couldn't be more satisfied with the high quality of care and attention that my cat received at your clinic. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Arnold Hegedus MRCVS for their outstanding and significant care. I will not hesitate to recommend your clinic to family and friends in need of veterinary care. Thank you once again, for your dedication to providing excellent care for pets like Bella. Sincerely, The Bellas owner.

Genuinely the best vets I’ve been to. Everyone has been absolutely lovely to both me and my cats, receptionists, nurses, vets, I can’t think of a negative interaction I’ve had. I haven’t managed to catch everyone’s names, and they are all so nice, but Sarah on reception is always particularly lovely, and so helpful. Again, haven’t managed to catch all names of those involved in their care, but Sami was so good with both of my cats. Really recommend this practice.

They don’t care about your pets they just care about your money! (Nearly 10k total) Absolutely heartbroken that they discharged my cat knowing he was not right! ‘Saying it’s just the meds’ Even in the discharge notes they put what a lovely boy my cat was! They must have known that my cat had not long left in him! He went downhill majorly after being in the vets and we had no choice but to put him to sleep 💔 I have been in pieces about losing my pet all because there was no duty of care, they just bump up the prices on the meds! My other cat came here for the same reason and that experience wasn’t great either, but he wasn’t given all these extra meds but at least he was given antibiotics unlike this time where he was given only ‘extra strong’ pain relievers! My other cat did not come home looking like he was on his last legs, I believe they sent my deceased cat on his journey! Both cat’s catheters fell out on all visits so why does this always happen! It’s frustrating that there are no other emergency vets around here because I would not recommend anyone to take their sick pets here! My cat should not have suffered and should definitely still be alive to this day!

My mother in law and sister in law sadly lost their family dog on Saturday 6th January. My brother in law and his girlfriend took the family dog to medi vets Southend early afternoon of the 6th of January to be sent away with medication that cost £156 to be told that if the dog does not get any better within 24hours to take him back to the vets. After arriving home from medi vets within 1 hour of the family dog arriving home he sadly passed away. After contacting Southend medi vets to say our family dog had sadly passed away, they advised us to bring him in ASAP. Southend medi vets quoted my mother in law all in all £359+ this payment was made immediately before even leaving our family dog for the last time. My family were made aware that the family dog would return in a box after being cremated and paying an additional £25 for this, only that 16 day later being today Monday the 22nd January we still had no update at all to say where the ashes were or how long they would take. My sister in law contacted medi vets (corringham) to enquire about this for one of the staff to say they had tried to contact us as a family but her words were the number they had was a digit missing. However in the past when it was time for our family dog to have its regular check up the number has been correct so why now our family dog has passed away and we’re having this addressed to us as an excuse is DISGUSTING!! After speaking to the lady from medi vets (corringham) she has made us aware that the family dog had been taken to the corringham branch due to the poor excuse of the number. Yes as a family we’re glad our dog was at corringham medi vets however this is not acceptable and any family grieving their animal should not have to go through this! as it is already a very difficult time. My sister in law went to medi vets to collect our family dog hoping that he was going to be in the casket we was promised and paid the £25 extra for however when my sister in law arrive home with our family dog not only did it feel like a game of parcel the parcel due to being in several layers!!! We received our family dog in a cardboard box!!!! How a vets thinks this is acceptable is beyond me not only was we given false promises we wasn’t even given a sympathy card to say sorry for our loss. I think the service we have received is disgusting and very very poor quality If anyone has a poorly animal or worried about their pet I do NOT recommend this vets! Us as a family have decided that we will not get another family dog but I can assure you if we ever did we would NEVER use this vets again!!!!
