Your vet will check your pet’s:
One of our veterinary nurses will also be on hand to advise you on the appropriate preventative healthcare needs your pet might have. This will be specifically tailored to your pet’s lifestyle and will include advice about flea and worming treatment, microchipping, vaccinations, socialisation, toilet training and emergency care.
Here at Medivet, we strongly believe in providing the best possible pet care. We want both you and your pet to get started on the right foot – that’s why we are including your kitten or puppy vaccination course when you sign up to the Medivet Healthcare Plan.*
Our pet healthcare plan is one of the best ways to keep your pet care costs low whilst providing protection for your puppy or kitten, ensuring they have the best start in life.
As well as this, we will give your puppy or kitten free monthly health checks for the first six months. This will allow us to monitor your pet's development and answer any questions you may have. After the first six months, we will then stagger your appointments to become thorough 6-monthly health checks with one of our veterinary surgeons.
The Medivet Healthcare Plan also includes:
*Ts & Cs: The Medivet Healthcare Plan is not currently available at all Medivet practices. Therefore, please contact your local Medivet practice to find out if they are participating. The 10% discount is on all veterinary care and medications and does not include retail products such as leads and toys. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Medivet offer. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer without prior notice.
If your pet is under the age of one year then, after their free health check, they’ll become eligible for four weeks’ free pet insurance with Petplan. This insurance can be activated immediately as the vet can sign a health declaration. Without the health check and the vet’s authorisation, new insurance for your pet will not be fully activated for at least two weeks, in which time your pet could develop an illness that is not covered.
There’s no obligation to take this free insurance or even continue it if you sign up and the four weeks have passed.
Here at Medivet, we so strongly believe in providing the best care, and we want to help your pet get started on the right paw.
