I grew up in the area and went on to gain a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from Edinburgh University. I worked in a mixed practice in Lincolnshire and spent two years in a small animal practice in Lincoln before moving back home. At home, I’m kept busy by my Springer Spaniel Tibs, my three cats, Sophie, Atom and Ezra, my tortoise Tiggles, my terrapin Tommy, my eight chinchillas and lots of fish.

My dog Millie is a very nervous dog and suffers terribly from anxiety but the vet that attended her dealt with her brilliantly (sorry didn't get his name) he even manage to get her to take treats from him. Unheard of when she very anxious! He checked her over and even manage to give her her yearly injection without her even realising it. Well impressed! Thank you.

My cat Harry was seen on time and concerns regarding his condition were listened too. Once examination was completed the cat was returned to me. A full explanation of cause of injury and treatment given. The veterinarian was very professional, informative and a lovely disposition. I hope he continues to work at Newman Watters

We just got a new rescue puppy, and after 4 weeks have been to the vets twice. Always seen within an hour of first contact. Always had a long and thorough telephone explanation from the vet afterwards. Because of Covid 19 we haven't actually met the vet, but Daisy the Dog loves it there and we always feel she gets great treatment. Also important, we get the right level of support and advice. Daisy feels fine now, and I hope we don't need to visit quite so often, but I feel really confident in the service if we need it. Thank you to all the staff at Medivet.

All the staff have been wonderful. Caring, considerate and compassionate. My cat needed an emergency operation in a critical situation and thanks to the care and knowledge of everyone at Newman Watters he has pulled through. I can’t praise them enough. Thank you to you all.
