I qualified at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1980 and owned my own practice for 25 years before moving to the UK. I’ve been part of the Medivet Boston team for four years now and I’m blessed to work with such a lovely group of people. In my spare time, my wife and I enjoy the outdoors and travelling. I mostly take part in cycling but also enjoy walking, scuba diving, game viewing and aeroplanes of any shape and size.

I have a degree in Biological Sciences from Warwick and studied for my NVQ in Veterinary Nursing at the College of Animal Welfare to become a vet nurse. I've worked at the practice for 13 years, starting as student nurse and working up to head nurse. I enjoy gardening (helping to organise the village gardening club) walking, yoga and baking cakes to share with friends and family. I also have a feisty rabbit named Ester.

I have a National Diploma in Animal Care and have been a qualified care assistant for many years. I joined the practice 13 years ago after leaving school. In my spare time I play hockey locally and for the East of England team. I rescued my lovely adventure dog a year ago after he was abandoned at the practice. I'm happiest when I'm on the beach with my wife and dog.

I joined the practice in February 2019 but have worked with animals for many years. I also hold a degree in Animal Biology from Edinburgh Napier University, and have over 10 years’ experience working with cats and dogs. I’m starting my vet nurse qualification in January 2020. Interestingly, I’ve previously lived in Spain and Peru. At home I have a small holding, including sheep, pigs, chickens, geese and goats. I really enjoy showing my sheep at local shows.

I joined the practice in 2001, starting as a student nurse and gaining my qualification whilst working. Since starting a family, I now work part-time and am currently on maternity leave with my second child. I completed my diploma and became a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 through the College of Animal Welfare. In 2017 I volunteered as Veterinary Nurse working with street animals in India. I also have two cats Trilby and Alan.

I’ve worked here at Boston since 2015 having completed two years work experience at the practice before joining. I’m currently studying for a degree in psychology with counselling through the Open University and after graduating I hope to further my career with animals. In my spare time I volunteer for the RSPB wildlife explorers, a volunteer-run group which works with children. I also love being outside and practice yoga to unwind. At home, I have a cat called Summer, a barn owl called Merlin and a little owl called Miranda.

The staff here are so amazing. Even during these uncertain times, they have been fantastic. I’d just like to say thank you to everyone for looking after Diesel after his awful accident. He’s on the road to recovery and sends lots of face licks to you all :)

It's never nice going to the vets as when you need to go it's because of an issue, these guys know this and are always fantastic. They are understanding, welcoming and happy to help. People moan about prices but at the end of the day if you don't want to pay vets bills don't get a pet. They aren't out to make huge amounts money of out of pet's misfortune. These guys genuinely care about our animals. They will go above and beyond, staying late is no issue for them if a pet is in need of help. Brilliant staff and help.

my dog is very anxious and can be difficult to treat, medivet are aware of this and have been excellent in her treatments ranging from boosters to operation on her. They have been very understanding and dealt with her very well as for a while I have also been anxious about how she would receive treatment with her being this way. when I have booked boosters they have allowed me to have a double appointment so to get to know my dog better and build a bit of trust up before at no extra cost which I think is great. thankyou all at medivet for looking after Rosie through her operation :)
