We've been bringing our two dogs to High Peak Veterinary Practice for 8 years. They have always had the best care. At their recent check-up they were made a fuss of by all the staff as always, and the dogs always enjoy their visits.

absolutely outstanding service last minute even though we weren't registered with them (our own vets were closed and the emergency line was just an answer phone) they stayed open late for us and gave us time and understanding , will be moving to them for my other dog

I've been using Grove for about 30years now with several cats and now my two dogs. Everyone there is consistently efficient, helpful and friendly. They have helped us through several long-term illnesses and been extremely fast to react in a couple of real emergencies too. Thanks to all the team.

Our Terrier Charlie, developed Gastroenteritis accompanied with bleeding. I was frantic with worry. Initially we took him to the Buxton practice , where he was examined by an amazing vet. Charlie was in a lot of pain, and Our vet went about examining him, thoroughly with such gentleness And was immediate in administering pain relief. We went on to the New Mills practice to have his stomach X rayed. The vets Jackie and Jo gave him excellent care. I could not have wished for better. I am eternally grateful x Thanks. X

I was so grateful to these vets I would highly recommend them they were so good to my dog Harley who was taken ill while we were on holiday in the peaks kept in for two days but looked after really well,I would just like to say a big than you Harley's now back to full health.

If you want high quality care for your pets then I highly recommend Grove Vets. They have looked after all my dogs over the years. If they say they are going to do something then you know it will be done you never have to follow things up. If your pet is ill you always have a clear plan of action so you know what is going to happen next. If you are worried at any stage you can always ring them for advice.Daisy, my border collie counts it as one of her highlights going to see them.

Friendly caring staff Tess is the only dog I've seen want to go to the vets mainly because the nurses spoil her with treats !! But also too see her best friend Victoria !!

I literally cannot put into words what they have done for my dog Archie. Archie and my other dog Bailey got ran over on Buxton road unfortunately Bailey died at the scene and Archie survived but we didn't no what injuries he had. I rushed him to grove, he wasn't actually registered there as I have only just moved to the area. At first Archie could not walk his back legs had gone and went into shock they were very quick at getting Archie the treatment he needed. Over the past week it has been a massive roller coaster of highs and lows Archie after 2 days began to sit up and eventually take a few steps. But he hasn't been for a wee or a poo and we thought he may have had really bad nerve damage he also had low blood cells which meant that we had to wait for an X-ray to see the extent of the damage to his back end. When eventually he was strong enough to have the X-ray they came to realise that Archie had had his tailor ripped off from his back end and would need amputating anyway a week on he's had his tail off by Steve and came home and had a wee and poo, the staff there Victoria Steve the nurse and reception were amazing the love and care they showed my dog is beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone thinking of sending there family (animals) Love from the harried family and Archie

I had to have my darling Jonne put down a few weeks ago. Through it all I knew she was always in the best care and safest hands. Thank you for making a hard time just that little bit easier. X

Just had our Staffie Penny to see Steve and Bex, Penny's was born at the practice and now she's 14 years with the support we get from the amazing team she will continue to keep in good health. Thanks to Steve and Colin for looking after her.
