I graduated from Maisons Alfort near Paris in 1998 and worked in France as a vet surgeon for eight years. We then moved to England in 2006 and I have been working part time since to raise my children. I gradually developed an interest in imaging and ultrasonography in particular. I joined Medivet Guildford in March 2018.

When I am not here, and my family spares me some time, I walk Loki (the handsome cross breed in my arms on the picture) in the woods for hours and I paint in my studio. I exhibit in local and less local art fairs when I can.

I joined the practice in 2014 as a mobile vet covering staff holidays but have worked full time in Guildford since 2017. I qualified from Nottingham Veterinary School in 2012 and after 2 years in a mixed practice I decided I wanted to focus on companion animals. My interests are canine and feline surgery and I am currently undertaking additional training to complete a Surgical Certificate run by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association. In my free time I like to travel the world and try new experiences in far flung locations. I've already ticked off sky diving and snorkelling off the East Coast of Australia, safari on a veterinary training course in South Africa, hiking to Machu Picchu in Peru, and next on my list is travelling across China for my honeymoon. Outside travelling I love arts and crafts and my next challenge is to perfect my Ollie on a snowboard to over an inch off the ground.

I qualified from the University of Bristol in 2009 and spent my first 3 years working in Suffolk before moving back down to London. I spent some time locuming for different practices around London and Surrey, including this practice, before moving here permanently in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of being a vet but I am particularly interested in internal medicine and imaging. I am currently unable to have pets of my own so make up for it by walking my colleagues dogs.

I qualified as a Vet in 1995 from the Royal Veterinary College, London. I have a special interest and passion for surgery and teaching surgery. I enjoy repairing fractures (fixing broken bones), torn ligaments and doing spinal surgery, helping paralysed pets to walk again. I enjoy doing educational talks to dog walking groups, agility clubs, Greyfriars and Surrey Police dog trainers. I moved to Brockham to bring up a family in the environment of the lovely Surrey Hills. I have two boys Tomas and Ethan (born 2003 and 2005) and I have a cat called Cherry (born in 2009), who has chronic cat flu, but she doesn’t let this hold her back. She is quite a character and a much loved family pet.

I completed my nurse training in East Sussex and qualified in 2009. I have worked in various practices and joined this practice in June 2015. I am a Clinical coach for training student nurses, and last year I achieved my Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Small Animal). I have an interest in animal nutrition and weight clinics, and am currently studying for a certificate in Canine and Feline Nutrition.

I joined Medivet in February 2018 as a second year Student Veterinary Nurse. I have been training since September 2016 and aim to qualify in March 2019. I have always known that I wanted to work with animals from growing up with dogs and cats as a child. I also used to work as a dog groomer which I really enjoyed, but wanted a role that was more involved and being a nurse has been the best choice I ever made.

I joined the practice in September 2017 and I am currently in the process of training to become a Veterinary Nurse. I previously studied Equine Management at Merrist Wood College for two years before joining Medivet in 2016. I have grown up around various types of animals (from horses to hamsters) and have always known I wanted to work with animals. I have four cats and one dog who I love spending time with.

I enjoy taking my dog to the beach in the summer, travelling and playing the piano. In the future I would like to have my own horse (when I have more time) and Bernese Mountain dogs!

I joined the practice in September 2014. Having grown up with different kinds of animals all my life I knew from an early age that working with animals was for me. I have a variety of pets at home ranging from a tortoise, 3 rescue dogs and small furry’s. I attended Merrist Wood College where I studied Animal Management for two years. My role here is to support the clinical team at the practice and look after the hospitalised pets full time.

I joined Medivet in 2017 as I decided that I wanted to pursue a career as a Veterinary Nurse. I am currently working as a Patient Care Assistant, and hope to start my training as a Student Nurse at the beginning of 2019. I graduated from Southampton University in 2015 with a History degree and quickly decided that the office life was not for me. I adore all animals and have grown up with dogs, cats, reptiles, budgies and most small furry’s, and so a change in career path to work with animals was a no-brainer, and a decision which I am thrilled that I made. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs Ringo and Stanley (both above), playing netball and travelling.

Having worked in financial services for a number of years, sadly my role was made redundant, so whilst job searching I saw the advert for a role at Medivet Guildford and immediately knew it was the right job for me! I absolutely love animals and have owned ferrets, hamsters, rabbits and fish, so I knew that taking a complete different career path and working in an industry so close to my heart was absolutely the right thing to do. Since joining the Practice in April 2015, I love coming to work every day and meeting all of the lovely clients and their gorgeous pets. I am owned by four Miniature Dachshunds who are my world – Roxy, Maddax, Dixie and Pixie (both above) – they definitely rule the roost in my house. I enjoy walking, swimming and socialising with friends and family.

I joined the practice in April 2004 after working in retail for many years. I have a rescue cat called Mia who is always up to no good. She's a mischievous girl, constantly terrorising my daughters cat Bow, and ambushing the local mice and birds in the area, she’s definitely the naughtiest little cat I have ever had. I also have a tortoise called Myrtle who was brought into the practice as a stray. She is estimated to be about 20 years old, and has bags of personality, she definitely keeps the cats on their toes. In my spare time I love socialising and going on holiday, especially to visit my son who lives in Australia.

I have been a veterinary receptionist since 2000 and I joined the practice in 2004. I have a small Jack Russell called “Rafferty” who comes to work with me every day and is a bit of a celebrity here! I also have a rescue cat called “Cola” who came in to the emergency vets with a horrific collar injury and was an inpatient here for quite a long time before coming home to live with me. In my spare time I knit premature baby clothes for a charity called BLISS, a hobby I really enjoy. I have eight grandchildren who keep me busy when I’m not at work and I hope one day to get a Springer Spaniel – maybe when I finally retire!

I joined Stocton Veterinary Centre in 2010 and as a passionate animal lover have really enjoyed my job as a receptionist and puppy and kitten cuddler!

I managed to resist for ten months before adopting Ellie my first little rescue dog and then two years later I took on Taz - they are known as the Tims Twins because they are so alike. My husband and I enjoy walking with our dogs, travelling and motor biking in our spare time.
