I joined the team in 2016. I grew up in Ireland and graduated from Dublin vet school in 2005. I then completed an internship at Glasgow Vet School Hospital. I’ve worked at several different small animal practices across the country since then, but I can honestly say that the Medivet team is the best; everyone turns up with a smile on their face and genuinely care about the pets they look after. At home I have a long-suffering cat called Mabel and a quite disobedient dog called Fraggle.

I’ve been working at Medivet Impington since I graduated from vet school in 2012. I grew up in Yorkshire surrounded by animals and spent a lot of my free time milking dairy cows and helping on the farms. I moved to Cambridge for university where I met my husband and never left. I love seeing my patients and clients and being part of a fabulous team. At home we have a pet corn snake called Cecil who enjoys hanging out with us and watching TV in the evening.

I grew up locally then went onto secondary school in Australia and New Zealand for vet school. After graduation I moved back home and have been working as a small animal vet for the past four years in a combination of permanent and locum jobs. I’m very happy to be settled in at Impington now with a fantastic team. At home I have a four-year-old border collie called Tahuna who keeps me fit, she is named after a beach in New Zealand.

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in August 2017 having done my training at Medivet St. Neots for four years. I joined the Impington team in October 2017 as a newly qualified nurse wanting a new challenge with a bigger team. I grew up on a farm in a local village getting involved with the family pets and livestock from a young age. At my family home I have a family dog called Archie and recently got my first dog with my partner, a welsh springer spaniel called Nigel. In my spare time I like to spend quality time with my family and friends.

I’m originally from America and have been part of the team since December 2018. I started studying to become a vet nurse in September 2019 and previously worked in a zoo. I have five german shepherds; Hela, Thor, Athena, Hades, Zeus, and a boxer called Mollie.

I joined the team in July 2019 as a Patient Care Assistant and in about a year I will have the opportunity to enrol as a Student Veterinary Nurse. Before I joined Medivet I used to work in marketing. At home I have two dogs, a Labrador called Toby and a spaniel called Daisy. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and gaming.

I’ve been a receptionist here since October 2017 and have come from a primarily animal-based background. I’ve worked in a boarding cattery and re-homing centre prior to Medivet Impington. I also have a degree in Zoology and completed the ISFM Cat Friendly Receptionist course to enhance the quality of cat care at the practice. At home I have two cats called Ralph and Buttons. Buttons is very new to our home, so she’s just getting settled.

Lovely friendly vet service, one puppy fell asleep she was so happy and relaxed with the vet, the other didn’t want to leave. Such a lovely experience for both pups. Thank you!

I wanted to update my 3 star review to a 5 star rating from 2018 based on experiences over the last three years. I've left the original review below for information. My 14 year old Jack Russell terrier has had issues with pain from her back and a cracked tooth and chronic pancreatitis. Zoe at Medivet Impington has been a wonderful vet and we always make appointments with her. She has helped resolve my dog's health issues and related behavioural issues. My dog is now much more relaxed and happy and enjoying life. I can't thank Zoe enough for her help, after our bad experience (see below) with a previous vet at the same practice (who has now left). 2018 review (3 stars) I've had good experiences of taking my dog to Hollyoak over the years for various health issues. The care my dog has received from most of the vets and the nursing staff has been exemplary. However I don't feel I received good advice there about my dog's behaviour. My dog has had behavioural problems and we have seen a behaviourist (unconnected with Hollyoak) for these issues who has been really helpful. However before Christmas her behaviour became much worse. Knowing that when she is in pain her behaviour becomes worse I was keen to establish if there was a physical/medical reason. The vet told me that we should think about getting our dog put down and I felt she didn't do a thorough examination before giving this advice. She didn't take my dog's temperature during this appointment. Two weeks later we went back to see a different vet a Hollyoak because our dog was clearly still not right and in pain. Our dog was diagnosed with a back problem and she had a temperature during this second appointment. After being put onto pain killers and anti-inflammatories her behaviour improved immediately and significantly.

So friendly and helpful!! My Nancy had her spay 4 weeks ago and after her incision became infected as she was allergic to the stitches she had many many vet trips! The vets, nurses and receptionists were so helpful and always managed to fit Nancy in for an appointment when I was worried about her, after 4 long weeks of antibiotics and the dreaded cone she’s finally all healed and back to her playful self💗 Tanya was so calm and loving towards Nancy everytime she saw her which definitely helped keep Nancy calm when she checked her tummy, couldn’t recommend this vet practice enough! I use them for both Nancy and my chihuahua Tyson who has many health problems and for both of them they have gone above and beyond! Thank you all so much for all the help these past few weeks, but fingers crossed Nancy won’t need to be seen for a while🤞🏼😂💗

Zoe, Victor, and the rest of this vet surgery are by far some of the best vets I've had. They're honest, straightforward and helpful with everything they do. Zoe helped me during end of life with my 18yr old moggie and was caring, gentle, and kind during the whole process. When we came in with a new kitten a few months later, the whole vet practice was abuzz and excited and happy to see her and meet her. Overall wonderful staff, kind humans and they really do care about you and your pets.

Can’t rate them enough!! I’d give them unlimited Stars if I could 😊 The Staff are all Wonderful and Very kind and Caring they take time to listen to your concerns of your pets. They greet you with lovely smiles 😊And greet our dogs with a lots of fusses and strokes and a treats which calms them down as both my dogs get nervous but they love the attention too from them 😊 If I have to cancel an appointment at short notice they do their utmost and re-arrange my appointments as soon as possible to suit me. They work very hard but always have time to chat. The list of praise’s is endless 👏😊👍

I have used Medivet Impington (Hollyoak Vets) for years and the vets and staff have always been helpful, sympathetic and dealt with our animals brilliantly. I would highly recommend them,
