Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

After qualifying as a vet in 1996 from Edinburgh University, I co-founded the practice in 2000. I have since gained a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology. At home, I have three children as well as two Labrador Retrievers, Margot and Nancy, a miniature smooth-haired Daschund called Olive and a horse called Lulu. In my spare time, I love to walk my dogs and I’m a huge rugby fan.

I qualified in 1996 from Edinburgh University and, since 2001, I have dedicated my career to small animal care. I have been with the Kenilworth team for seven years, and I’m particularly interested in ophthalmology (for which I’m a certified General Practitioner) acupuncture, chronic pain clinics, medicine and dentistry. When I’m not at work, I’m mainly a taxi service for my two sons or cheering them on from the touchline of a sports game. I also love to spend time with my black Labrador called Nessie and my cat, Paz.

I became a vet in 2001 after qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in London. I previously worked in small animal practice in Derby for two years before moving to Leamington Spa. I have been part of the Kenilworth team since 2003. My job is always interesting thanks to my varied caseload, both medical and surgical.

I initially qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014 and have previously worked at a few other practices, including Leamington Spa 24-Hour Hospital. I have been in my current role at Kenilworth for roughly 12 months. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as my Dalmatian, Dotty, and my Ragdoll cat, Parker.

I originally joined the Kenilworth team as a Client Care Assistant in 2018, before transitioning to a Patient Care Assistant in December of the same year. I hope to start training as a Student Veterinary Nurse later this year. Although I don’t have any pets myself, I’ve been adopted by my next-door neighbour’s cat, Izzy.

I’ve worked in various reception roles over the years before having children; I then went back to work and joined the Kenilworth team in 2015. Outside of my job, I foster Guide Dog puppies and look after my grandchild. I also have a Labrador called Molly and a German Shepherd called Christa, both of which are retired guide dogs.

I have been a Client Care Assistant since 2014, and during this time I’ve progressed to a senior role and an office administrator. My love of animals led me to complete a degree in Zoology at the University of Nottingham. I have an English Springer Spaniel called Milo as well as pet rats. In my spare time, I love running and theme parks.

Why would I not, with your cheerful, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable staff in a spotless clean and welcoming environment. So many practices are made unnecessarily stressful due to cramped waiting areas and frontline staff that are so often engaged in administration that are able to barely register a civil 'Hello!' let alone the attention to their patrons. This is definitely not one of those establishments. No 10/10 from top to bottom. Great service.

The staff are always helpful , find time to answer queries or allay fears . On my last visit the nurse could see my puppy was distressed by a much bigger dog barking and calmly showed us another room . It’s things like this help make the visit more successful for the pet . All the staff are calm and friendly

Super-friendly with people and pets! Highly professional, but really kind staff. We had our "new pet" assessment with Kat and she was wonderful with us and with Corky the cat.

We've had excellent service here. Always helpful and friendly and never had to wait excessively. Bit expensive but then I suppose that's just the way it goes.
