Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I've worked at Medivet Langley since 2013. I qualified over 12 years ago from the Royal Veterinary College and have worked in small animal practice in the local area ever since. As well as having a wide range of expertise in both medical and surgical cases, I'm also an LVI, meaning I can prepare pets for international travel. I hold a certificate in feline medicine. In my spare time I enjoy going to the theatre and cinema and love being in the garden where I especially like growing vegetables. I'm also a member of a local book group.

Excellent service was provided for Rosie after a road traffic accident. The vet and the nurses showed sincere compassion and repaired her leg outstandingly. The care they all showed in making Rosie better was first class. I am very grateful to them all at Medivet Langley.

It's always difficult decide which reviews of people you've never met should be believed. I ignore all those that have no understanding of punctuation. I believe it to be a sign of random thoughts just dropping out of the head. Personally, I've been bringing my animals to this practice since it opened. I have never had cause to complain. These are lovely, kind and professional people doing a fantastic job. They have been with me on each journey I have made with each of my beloved pets and I could not ask any more of them. I just cannot fault them and never have been able to. Anyone not happy with the prices needs to rethink responsible pet ownership. Pets cost money. Sure, it's a bit shocking when they say it's going to be £4,800 but that's why owners need to think about insurance and responsibility. This practice is connected to Pet Plan. Yes, I think they are the most expensive insurers. But they pay out when you need it. If you have a pet, you pay money out fast (big chunks when they get ill) or you pay money out slow (regular amounts to the insurer and much smaller amounts when they get ill). But pets cost money, that's the deal. Medivet put all the claims in for me and I have no pesky administration and forms I don't understand to fill out to get my money. It takes years to train to be a vet and this practice keeps long industrious hours that help me in scheduling appointments around my own work. They earn their money. Drugs cost cash. That's down to the pharmaceutical giants not to the local vet. Shocked at that? Think about that when you next use the NHS. I love having a local vet I can go to. Medivet never fall short of the five stars in any category when I am dealing with them.
