Joe Wyatt

Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I've been branch partner at Little Hadham since 2018, previously working as lead vet at Enfield 24 Hour, taking soft issue and orthopaedic referrals. I was born and raised in Hertfordshire and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2008. In 2014 I completed a post-graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery while working for the PDSA charity. I strive to give each and every patient the full benefit of my experience and dedication and to ensure every client experiences the very highest standard of customer service while under my care. At home I enjoy spending time with my family and in my spare time I love camping in the woods, especially cooking and eating from a campfire. I have a cat called Wiggins and two aquariums with tropical and marine fish

I currently work as a Patient Care Assistant, with the hope of becoming a Student Veterinary Nurse. My end goal is to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and continue my work here at Medivet. In my spare time, as a L1 CrossFit coach, I enjoy taking part in and coaching CrossFit classes, as well as going on long walks in the countryside and going on family holidays to soak up the sun.

The kindness and understanding of these people is unreal. After having our 13 year old girl fall ill, I had to find a vet to come and help her to sleep. She wasn't registered with them but the help and understanding of the situation was second to none. I called at about 9.30am and they came out at just after 12. They made a horrible situation a little easier. Thank you to the 2 of them for that. Everything was done at our pace and nothing was rushed. We will miss our girl forever 🐾

So have used Medivet many years ago when Helen was there . Always found to be empathetic and caring before so after Lilly my cat had a protruding claw and had not been her usual self it was decided to take her to the vet . I get very anxious and worried about how Lilly would take it . In the car on the way there she was meowing and we tried to calm her ( a 10 minute drive from home ) got to reception and she calmed . We then met Sarah who gave her a full check over and clipped and cleaned the claw and pad . While we were there we decided to get her chipped ( as both our other two are and we inherited her 4 years ago ) So Sarah gave her the chip without a whimper from Lilly really impressed. Lilly is now back to normal and happier . Thank you Sarah I can now relax .
