Carys Connolly

Receptionist

Carys joined our practice in June 2022. Her background originated in hospitality. She wanted to be a vet growing up, studying all the sciences and volunteering at Swan Lifeline, Windsor, as a teenager, but somehow fell into pub work mid degree and has only just escaped! She has a springer spaniel called Delilah and two cats: Merlin & Morgana. Growing up she wasn't allowed pets, other than hamsters, so the aim is to eventually have a domestic pet zoo!! Carys is very excited to now work with animals which is where her heart lies, even if it's just seeing them come through the door. Working with people is also close to her heart and she gets great satisfaction from good customer service and brightening someone's day.

I've been using Harvest Vets for over 25 years now, possibly not long after it opened? I've taken all my 3 cats there over the years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The reception staff are always kind and the vets really do care. Nazrene is an absolute diamond and has looked after 2 of my cats now. One better behaved than the other ... and she has so much compassion, I can't thank her enough. The nurses have the patience and caring nature required to look after even the most nervous and disgruntled patient. It's such a shame the practice was taken over by Medivet but the staff continue to provide a good service. It'll always be Harvest Vets though!
