I joined the practice as lead vet in May 2019, having worked locally since 2014. I qualified in 2010 from the Royal Veterinary College and have been working in general practice since. I have a special interest in surgery, dermatology and geriatric pet health care, and have completed several courses to further my skills and expertise in these areas. I also have a Zoology degree from Durham University and initially worked for the BBC making science documentaries before starting my vet degree. Outside of work, I'm married with two young children. When I'm not running around after the kids or the dog, I enjoy playing and watching rugby. I also have a jack russell called Maggie who was rescued as a puppy.

I've been at the practice since January 2019 and love my job. I love that everyday is different and enjoy the challenges. At home I have two cats called Elsa & Oreo. I've had various animals since a little girl and have always felt a connection with them.

I was born and raised in Bristol before moving to Cambridge in 2014. I've worked at Medivet since September 2018. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time learning nursing. I've worked with animals since I was 18 in various different roles, and have a degree in Animal Biology from Nottingham Trent University. At home I have two cats. One is my lazy, old boy - Sam, who is 16. The other is my crazy noise maker - Chloe, she is 5.

I've been with the practice for several years but have been in the profession for over 30 years. I have many years experience with neonates, on many occasions keeping one or more. Outside of work I'm married with one daughter. I have too many pets to mention, but at the moment have three dogs and one cat.

Really excellent service from calling to get an appointment to visiting with my dog. Always good at calling to give results and always pleasant staff at all levels. Always great with my dog and he is always happy to visit. Have recently advised a friend of mine to use the surgery as she has recently adopted a greyhound.

Karen has been wonderful. She arranged for us to visit the surgery last with suspected Kennel Cough. She was very thorough and wasn’t taking anything for granted. I appreciate the time and effort she takes with us.
