I took our cats to this vets for their six month checkup. It is great to see that they have a cat only waiting room which is reassuring for dog averse cats. Both the receptionist and vet were/are so friendly and immediately put our cats at ease, in fact , I think they quite enjoyed their visit.

First trip with my Romanian rescue puppy. The staff were all really welcoming, very helpful and friendly. I had an appointment within a couple of hours of calling with an enquiry. it was a very positive experience.

My mum had to have our cat put to sleep, seeing how devestated my sister was the vet has sent through bobby's footprint on a card, some fur in a bottle and some forget me not plant seeds. The vets that go the extra mile and show they care I wish I could give more then 5 stars

Yesterday I took my elderly Border Terrier in as she has been very ill over the past few days. Right from the first contact on the phone, staff were consistently helpful, kind, understanding and supportive. In particular, when I got emotional about the possibility of facing the end of Ruby’s life, staff were sensitive and compassionate in their response. I can not recommend this practice highly enough.

Our cat has only been registered with the Oakdale practice for just under a year but already I would have no hesitation in recommending Medivets Oakdale to any loving pet owner. We had previously been registered with another vet for 6 years but after our cat started to become an extremely difficult patient (probably putting it lightly!!) they just didn't want to see us, sometimes at the extent of his health! When we had been fobbed off enough, we decided to move to Medivets. One of the main things that attracted us (besides the glowing reviews) was that they are a 'Silver Level Cat Friendly Accredited Practice' which was important to us given our boy finds the whole vet experience incredibly stressful and frightening. ......We haven't looked back since! Everyone at the practice is so warm, friendly and welcoming. It seems nothing is too much trouble. Kate (the vet we see) is fantastic and definitely the nicest vet we've ever dealt with. She's always shown such love and care for our cat, even though he's probably tried to attack her on several occasions! But that doesn't matter, and it's such a relief that we know he'll get the best care no matter how difficult his experience is at the vets. Whenever we have questions or concerns, Kate is always happy to discuss things over the phone and even calls to follow up on how things are going which I've never experienced before! Just brilliant. Unfortunately our cat was recently diagnosed with early onset of kidney disease but we've no doubt that Kate and the team will ensure our beloved cat receives the best care so he'll be around (fingers crossed!!) for many more years to come.

Very experienced vet and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Angel was so relaxed at 9 weeks old she went to sleep!

Always a friendly welcome, second to none. A very professional practice with a clean modern environment. A treat always offered to Maisie but afraid we have a fussy pooch and she refuses to eat it!
