Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a vet in 2006 from the University of Wroclaw, Poland, before relocating to Oldham in 2008. I’m constantly building upon my knowledge and am currently studying towards a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work, I have a Friesian horse and two German Shepherd dogs called Gotham and Ivy.

Kath Willis

Veterinary Surgeon

I joined the Oldham Lees team in 2019, bringing with me my years of experience as a small animal practitioner. I hold a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, with a focus on Small Animal Medicine and I particularly enjoy treating geriatric pets and those with complex medical problems. I’m also particularly interested in soft tissue surgery. I’m a keen outdoor swimmer and enjoy hill walking, cycling and orienteering. As well as learning to play the piano, I spend lots of time with my elderly Labrador Retriever and my rescue cat.

I joined the team in 2013 and I’m now the practice’s Head Registered Veterinary Nurse. I’m also the Clinical Coach for all our student nurses, helping them in their studies to become fully-fledged veterinary nurses. At home, I’m kept busy by my Pyrenean Mountain Dog, three cats, two geckos and a tortoise.

I joined the practice in 2014 as a Student Veterinary Nurse before qualifying in 2018. I absolutely love all aspects of my job, particularly my role as Cat Advocate in our accredited Cat-Friendly Clinic. I’m also a qualified riding instructor in my free time and I look after my own horse, Tia.

I have been a member of the Oldham Lees team since 2015 and I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2019. I’m a keen horse rider and I love to be out with my horse Jed (otherwise known as Jedi). I also have a rescue cat called Harley Quinn.

I first joined Oldham Lees in February 2014 to pursue my ambition of becoming a veterinary nurse. I am now proud to be a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. I’m a true cat lover, with four at home. This includes Summer, a kitten brought into practice as an injured stray that I fostered and rehabilitated after treatment. I fell in love with her and she’s been with me ever since.

After graduating with a Zoology degree from the University of Salford, I joined the Oldham Lees practice in 2017 on work experience before becoming a permanent member of the team. I’m currently our afternoon and Saturday receptionist. I hope to pursue my long-term goal of working within the veterinary clinical community.

I’m the longest-serving member of Oldham Lees, with an enjoyable 20 years under my belt. As a Client Care Supervisor, I relish getting to know all of our clients and their pets. I enjoy shopping and socialising, as well as going for weekends in my caravan. When I’m not travelling the UK, I love to sun myself on various cruises around the world.

Love this place, Rob has been amazing with me being so panicky about lunar and he's so lovely with her too, I had my older dog with them from pup to the ends and the practice has always been caring and lovely, I can't believe I've ever been anywhere else. I've just moved my own dog here after a bad experience (at a different vets) and I'm so much happier and county's end are so much more professional and a higher quality and standard, I feel confident with my lunar being here under Rob and the teams care

Thank you very much for your assertiveness and professional manner. Bonnie came in for her 12 week vaccinations, and although very rare had a severe reaction and collapsed within minutes and without warning. You whisked her away and treated her with vital medications. She is now recovering well.
