I’ve been the lead vet here since August 2017. I graduated from Lisbon Technical University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, then completed an internship at Hannover University's School of Veterinary Medicine before starting to work in practice in the UK. Over the years I’ve developed an interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and in December 2016, obtained the BSAVA's Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. I’m passionate about research into veterinary medicine and surgery and strive to offer the best advice and care available to my patients. Outside of work, I live in Lincolnshire with my wife, who is also a veterinary surgeon, and my two daughters.

I've never had anything but the kindest, clearest and most compassionate interactions at Medivet Bretton. It is clear that the staff truly care for the animals, even with a long gap between visits they always remember my dog. They are informative, helpful and understanding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other pet owners.

Sadly I had to say goodbye to my 12 year old cat Henry this week as he was so poorly. I can’t thank Medivet enough for their compassion, kindness and understanding which helped make a heartbreaking experience less painful. They were so gentle with Henry in his last moments and gave me the time I needed to be with him after he’d passed. Yesterday I picked up Henry’s basket and blanket from the vet, in the basket was a card with Henry’s paw prints and cutting of his fur, together with some sunflower seeds to plant and a leaflet of support. All the staff were amazing and I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart 🐾

This vet is amazing, my kitten Frankie wasn’t feeling too well she was being sick etc... I rang up and the nurse spoke to me over the phone, they spoke to me for about 30 minutes giving me amazing advice that worked! They even rang me after to make sure she was okay and eating properly, they’re professional and a great team. They’ve also been Covid safe and I’m 100% staying at this practice!
