After qualifying in Spain in 2002, I worked at several small animal practices before deciding to move to the UK in 2007. Since then I have worked in Cambridgeshire. I have a keen interest in all aspects of small animal medicine, preventative health care, internal medicine, ultrasound and dentistry, and enjoy doing surgeries as well. Outside of work I live with my partner Carlos and Nelo, a lazy cat that stays indoors whenever there is any sign of rain or cold. Away from work I enjoy walking, reading, travel and most of all spending time with friends and family.

I qualified as a vet from The University of Nottingham in 2016 and joined the team at Whittlesey in July 2016, after spending several weeks here on placement as a veterinary student. Though I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, I have a keen interest in dermatology. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and also my pets- Lord Squilliam, a very lazy but very handsome British shorthair cat, and the mad Hettie and Martha, a clumber spaniel and Italian spinone. I also enjoy travelling, dancing, skiing and tending to my three chickens.

My love of animals has been with me all of my life, from the earliest memories of Daktari and Born Free in Africa on the TV as a child, to the stories of James Herriot in the Yorkshire Dales. I've had several jobs over the years, ranging from tree surgeon to farm worker, lambing assistant to leopard tracking and catching venomous snakes in the bush. I've also kept, bred and worked black labradors for 30 years. I've learnt a great deal whilst working in practice, and I thoroughly enjoy it. At home I have a labrador and a border terrier, along with a cat, small parrot, and a few chickens. I am a fully qualified swimming coach and have spent many an hour on poolside up and down the country.

I've been working with animals in many fields for over 14 years, from pig farming to ferret racing. I love animals and have been nursing for the past eight years. I enjoy being part of the community and seeing all the local people and there pets. At home I have three cats called Mojo, Luna and Duke who couldn't be more different, and a crazy Collie cross Jackpot, who keeps me on my toes. I love my job and working in Whittlesey.

I've lived in the lovely Whittlesey all my life and have been working within veterinary hospitals and practices for over 10 years. Animals are my passion and I adore them. I qualified as an animal nursing assistant in 2010 at the Collage of Animal Welfare. Outside of work I have three beautiful children, Callum, Emily and my lovely labrador Jessie.

I've always had a love of animals and would have a zoo if I could. I decided a career change was needed and in 2015 took the leap to join the team at Whittlesey. I enjoy greeting the clients and love meeting their furry family members, especially when cuddles are in order. Outside of work I live with my husband, a dog called Penelope and a cat called Floyd who do their best to not let me rest or lay in. Making the career change has been the best thing I've done and I love working with the team here.
