Nicole Barnes

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I gained my vet qualification from the University of Nottingham in 2016 and returned to Surrey in 2018. I then decided to join the Medivet team. I’m now studying towards a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. I’m a big animal lover; I currently have a cat called Nadine and two miniature Rex rabbits called Gin and Rose.

I graduated as a vet in 2012 from Brisbane, Australia. I've worked in several very busy first-opinion veterinary hospitals in the South East and East of England. When I'm not at work I'm busy running around after my child and dogs.

I joined the team in 2019 and graduated in South Africa several years ago. I've been working in hospitals in southern London. I'm interested in both medicine, surgery and particularly in ultrasound scanning. In my spare time I play underwater hockey and train several times a week.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I have lots of previous nursing experience and am passionate about animals, particularly for pygmy goats. In my spare time I breed pygmy goats, and at certain times of the year I'm busy doing double duty, juggling veterinary nursing duties with maternity and paediatric care at home.

Patient Care Assistant

I joined the practice straight from school in 2019 to embark on a career in veterinary nursing. I have a lifelong passion for all animals, large and small, but especially small. When not at work I'm caring for my dogs, guinea pigs, a micro-pig and a bearded dragon.

I joined the practice in July 2018. I'm passionate about animal care and always try my best to meet our patients needs. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing and keeping fit, playing football and rescuing kittens.
