After having a bad experience at another local vets during Covid-19 lockdown, it was refreshing to find a practice with staff that genuinely seemed to care. Everyone I have dealt with so far and spoken to have been so lovely. The cost of my pet's treatment was also affordable and I would definitely recommend the surgery to friends & family.

Very pleased with Medivet Pontefract. Had both my netherland dwarf rabbits (4 months old) neutered here in January. The pre op check was done by a very friendly nurse who put my bunnies at ease when she did the consultation on a mat on the floor. The castration itself went smoothly by a vet who was clearly experienced with rabbits and explained the procedure well. The post op checks were included in the price too and the vet was very thorough. Would 100% recommend this practice.

Absolutely wonderful place. Truly appreciate them so much. In these difficult times they saw us at short notice after being let down elsewhere. Now our puppy has first lot of vaccinations. The vet was so lovely and I want to give the receptionist a massive thank you for firstly working when we should all be at home and helping us. Xx

Fantastic practice. Everyone is so kind and caring. I have been taking my cats to them for years. Visited today and my cat was seen by Ruben - what a lovely kind vet. He was so informative and had my cat eating out of his hand (not literally). Thank you very much.

Vet was friendly, calm and patient with my two cats. Both cats normally are stressed when we visit the vet and hiss a lot but neither one made a sound. There was no delay in the waiting room. I was seen exactly on time. Vet's advice was focused on the health of my pets and didn't feel like an effort to encourage me to spend more money. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Everyone went that extra mile to look after us as well as Billy. When he went for his post op check he wasn't scared or apprehensive to go in which tells me it wasn't so very traumatic for him and he must have been well looked after, he's still friends with everyone. Thank you x

The girl on reception was lovely and the vet was so nice and my cat was not frightened at all even when she had an injection. Also vet said to make a follow up appointment only if I thought it necessary, and didn’t say I need to, wasn’t trying to get more money from me if it wasn’t necessary.

Just been this afternoon staff were lovely especially the actual vet who saw my 3 dogs didn't catch his name From walking into the clinic he took time to let my dogs sniff and get used to him before giving them all there yearly check and injection Made the visit this time very easy ..
