I’ve been a member of the Prescot team since 2016 and I’m currently working hard in my studies to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I’m due to qualify this year and I’m so excited to continue my career. I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Blue and a cat called Wade.

I used to work as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the early ‘80s and went on to work as an Animal Care Lecturer until 2003. I then joined the Prescot team in 2009 as a Client Care Assistant. Sadly, I don’t have any pets right now, but I do love meeting all our clients’ lovely animals every day.

Given the difficult circumstances Johann Viljoen took time to explain that my elderly Jack Russell Buddys sudden haiir loss was due to an allergy and nothing more sinister. He recomended a change to his flea treatment and some medication to adress the symtoms. He advised it was a trial and error situation and the initial medication may not work. So far he seems to be responding well and I have not lost any fingers giving him the medication. Buddy is not an easy patient but he is always treated well. He hates going to the practice but this time he seemed almost pleased that I had taken him!
