I decided aged five that I wanted to be a vet and realised that ambition in 1999 graduating from the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh. I then worked in one of the main hospitals in Reading before going on to set up, and run a branch surgery. I've since moved back to Hertfordshire, working the North London area. I now love working with the team at Medivet Radlett. I enjoy the new challenges and opportunity to work with wonderful pets and their owners. In my spare time, I bake, run and play golf.

I'm Claire, one of the 4 vets working in Radlett. I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have a special interest in Diagnostic imaging and particularly enjoy ultrasound scanning. I gained my Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging in 2023. When I'm not at work I will be found walking my beautiful Spaniel, Chuckles and being a taxi service to my 2 children!

I started my nursing career in 2014 after graduating with a degree in Zoology. I became a registered veterinary nurse in 2019 and have a keen interest in anaesthesia, emergency care and exotics. I am owned by a chihuahua cross called 'Tinks' who can often be seen at the practice assisting the human Radlett team with day to day business.

I’ve been at Medivet Radlett for three years and have lived in the area all my life. I understand pets can be everything to a person, and I care deeply about providing the best support I can to our clients. At home I have two rescue lurches called Marvin and Herbert. I also often take in hedgehogs over winter that are too small to hibernate.

My pets have been with Alan and his team for the last 20 years. They have been well looked after, Medivet Radlett became part of our family. Thank you for the years of care.

it's such a great comfort to know that Monty is in such safe hands when we have to visit the practice. He is always really well looked after and I never have any doubt in my mind that he is receiving the very best care! Thank you!

I recently recommended Medivets to a friend and then needed a vet myself. My dog was off his food and it was easy to book an appointment, I saw Alan, he was kind and gentle with Marley, he was so knowledgeable and helpful and i got support and Marley already showed signs of improvement within a few hours after his injection. I have 6 animals and will be back. Huge thank you you have a great team and everyone was extremely helpful and happy to help. Great practise.

I was incredibly frightened that my parrot was egg bound. My vet wasn't available and I must've called about 15 other vets to try and get her in. Medivet Radlett were extremely busy but they made time. She didn't have to be put under (which is always dangerous) and the vet was so kind. No judgement (my parrot is a rescue plucker) and was knowledgeable and supportive. What would normally be a stressful situation was dealt with so calmly. Thank you, so much

I've been looking for a rat savvy vet after feeling less than confident following my experiences at a couple more local practices. This practice has been recommended in a Rat UK FB group by several fellow rat owners. I've taken some of my boys to see Natasha a couple of times now and she is AMAZING. I feel so much more at ease knowing that there is veterinary care I can access with complete confidence and trust. It's a 40-mile round trip for me, but well worth it. Highly recommended to anyone with rodents!
