I qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2010 after receiving a BSc in Animal Sciences from Rutgers University in America. I joined the Skeldale Veterinary Centre team in 2013 and became a practice partner in 2019, taking on responsibility for Ripon in 2020. I love bonding with clients and their pets and am often found consulting. I'm passionate about first opinion and preventative medicine. At home, I have two young boys and three dogs, so whether at work or at home I'm always busy.

I joined Medivet in 2020.I grew up on a farm in Kent so becoming a nurse was inevitable. I qualified as a nurse in 2012 and have had a varied career since qualifying. I moved to Yorkshire in 2017 then North Yorkshire in 2020. In my spare time I love hiking, especially in the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, Lake District, and Snowdonia.

Thank you for seeing Gustav so quickly. Some might wonder why bother with a Guinea pig but he is such a character and deserves the best in his twilight years

The vet we saw was very informative and, kind. I felt like I had an option with what we should do to help my dog (I understand sometimes there isn't another option), but I felt like I wasn't pressured into buying additonal things that wouldn't actually make much difference at all to my dogs recovery. I felt the vet was very understanding of my dogs needs, there was a scared dog in the back making a bit of noise, but she kept a calm positive tone which helped calm my dog when we needed him to be calm. Just great customer service! Thanks very much, Holly and Toby the pug :)
