My hobbies include going to the gym, travelling, walking and spending time with friends and family. I’m passionate about helping clients and their pets to be as happy as possible. I qualified as a nurse in April 2016 after studying with Medivet Training College. Prior to joining St Albans in January 2015 I’ve worked in several different Medivet practices in the Watford area. I also obtained a BA Hons degree in Animal Behaviour at the Berkshire College of Agriculture and worked as a children’s nanny. I’m particularly interested in exotics, behaviour and nutrition. At home I’m owned by Dennis the Pug and Mary the rescue cat, along with four tortoises, Betty, Jinx, Crackers and Jenson. Outside of work I attend events to raise funds for Muffin Pug Rescue and Pug Welfare.

I was amazed by how thoroughly the vet explained the treatments and how preventative care is so important to our pets. They had great covid measures in place and talked me through everything clearly by phone. Highly recommend.

I am delighted with the service received from minute one. For someone who's new to the Vet's world, I couldn't ask for a more personalised and humane attention. I had so many doubts when we brought our 8-week kitten home that I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Gus, the Vet, exceeded my expectations explaining everything I needed to know and beyond. Rachel was also fantastic before and after my visit. Seeing how professional the team is puts my mind at ease. I also chose the health care plan because it's great value for money. Found it a no-brainer. Overall, really satisfied and would recommend 100%. Keep it up!

The nurse and vet dealt with the Corona situation brilliantly whilst still providing top care for my doggie. Was horrible handing her over to go into her consultation on her own, but they handled it so well. The vet Gus was amazing on the phone, going through everything he needed to with me, giving me time to ask questions and providing me clear answers and a plan for what we are going to do with my little pupper. Never been to this vets before and they dealt with the change over from my old vet so quickly and professionally.

My dog Mia tried jumping over a baby gate yesterday getting her shoulder and front leg caught in the gate and was in a lot of pain. We rushed her over to Medivet where they administered two pain relief injections and found an animal charity called Celia Hammond in Canning town as we were looking at costs around £900. The staff were so helpful and friendly and after a long day at Celia Hammond our dog is now at home with a doggy sling only suffering ligament damage. Thank you Medivet for being so helpful.

The staff were really helpful when we took in an injured hedgehog from our garden. We hope to be able to release Spiny Norman back into the wild in due course.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and informative. They recommended a product to us but were not pushy about it, just explained the benefits so that we could go away and think about it.
