Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2001 in South Africa and have been working as a small animal Veterinary Surgeon since. I obtained a certificate in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery in 2011. My Special interests include soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, internal medicine and oncology. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and every now and again a round of golf.

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 2020 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. After working for a few months in a small animal practice in Greece I decided to move to the UK to experience something new . I have been working for Medivet for almost two years now mostly between three branches, one of them being Standish. I have an interest in internal medicine and ultrasonography.

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in South Africa in 1990. After working there for a few years I returned back to the UK. I started at Standish as a locum in August 2022 and enjoyed it so much I decided to stay. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, walking my dogs. In 2024 I hope to restart showing my Lakeland terrier Tommy in local dog shows.

Practice Manager

I spend most of my time managing the practice and the wonderful team. Keeping everything running smoothly is more than a full time job. Most of my time is spent behind the scenes supporting the team, and clients. I particularly love the diversity and challenges that occur daily, and helping owners and their companions. Outside of work I am busy with three boys and keeping active.

My names Catherine but everyone calls me Fro. I have been qualified since 2009, I am still 21 years young. I have worked in hospitals and referral but found my love in first opinion, where I can see familiar faces from both clients and patients. My spare time is spent with Stanley my 8 year old Whippet and his human brother Jacob.

I joined Standish in 2020 although I have been with the Medivet family for over 10 years. I qualified in 2015 and I have a keen interest in Nurse consults. I have a busy household which is ruled by my Pointer Arlo and my ginger tabby Reggie.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I joined in 2018 after having a 10 year career as a dog groomer. I qualified in 2021 with the College of Animal Welfare. I have a keen interest in anaesthesia and animal behaviour. I have rescued a few pets including my dog Conker and cat Sushi.

Veterinary Nurse

I joined in 2019 as a student and have recently gained my qualification in May 2023. I have interest in nursing consultations and laboratory analysis. I spend most of my time with my Newfoundland Sullivan.

Student Veterinary Nurse

I joined veterinary in 2019 and now I am waiting to sit my final exams to become a registered veterinary nurse. I enjoy radiography and laboratory analysis. My spare time is spent with my Border Collie Luna or catch me reading fantasy books.

I have been working in Veterinary for over 7 years and in that time I gained my patient care assistant qualification and I am now in my second year of the veterinary nursing qualification. I enjoy all aspects of my job and meeting all new furry friends. I have my own crazy staffy called Dolly.

I joined Standish in September 2023 as a client care assistant. I am enjoying learning all things veterinary and meeting our four legged clients. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my little dog Nahla.
