What our clients say

Here's just an example of some of the heartwarming feedback we've received from our valued clients.

"Since Lucy was 12 years old she has had dementia which has meant she became more reliant on their care with different health issues.

Over the last two years, it has been great to get the advice from Laura Medlicott about what adjustments could be made to make Lucy's life easier. Emma and the team worked with us giving us advice and ideas to help Lucy cope with the changes as well as medication to help with her deterioration of dementia.

Right throughout Emma and the team listened to our concerns and always delivered an outstanding level of care to Lucy; even when she was put to sleep, they made our loss as special as they could.

The moment I was dreading was not as bad as I thought it would be, we got a real comfort from it and it was nice knowing that she had people she was familiar with in the final moments of life and she had her final cuddles from the staff before she was set free over the Rainbow Bridge, so for this I would like Sutton Farm to get the best recognition they can get as they fully well deserve it."

I graduated from Liverpool University in 2009. I spent eight years in a small practice in North Wales before moving to Shropshire in 2016. I’m interested in medicine and completed a certificate in this a few years ago, meaning I have knowledge in creating independent care plans and treatment options. I’m also interested in cardio-respiratory cases and dermatology, which I’m also gaining a certificate in soon. At home I have two children, Austin and Alice who I love spending quality time with at home.

I graduated last year from my home country of Romania. I joined Medivet in 2018 as a resident, meaning I got to see all of the practices in our Shropshire region to gain vast experience before settling in Sutton farm. I’m keen to further my knowledge in dermatology and eye health and am currently becoming certified in these areas to use in my consults. Outside of work I love playing tennis and hiking to places like Snowdonia and areas around Shrewsbury. At home in Romania I have a cat called Pisi.

I’ve been Head Nurse here at Medivet Sutton Farm since January 2017. Prior to this, I worked at the Shrewsbury Pet Hospital as a student nurse. I qualified as a veterinary nurse from Myerscough College in 2016. I love all aspects of veterinary nursing, particularly nutrition and nurse clinics. I’m currently studying for a Certificate in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition. At home I have two very cheeky dogs, Ronnie and Normal and a cat called Bernard who has a lot of attitude. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the countryside with the dogs, swimming and reading.

I joined Medivet in May 2017 as a Patient Care Assistant. I gained a permanent place at Sutton Farm in early 2018 and I’m now going into my second year at Rodbaston College studying to become a vet nurse. I have a keen interest in nurse clinics and have started doing this myself. I’m also interested in emergency and critical care. My favourite part of the job is meeting different pets. At home I have a sassy birman cat called Lola and a cheeky cockapoo called Carlos. In my spare time you’ll find me studying for my exams in my hot tub.

I’ve been working for Medivet since October 2017, originally as a Patient Care Assistant. I gained a permanent place at Newtown but then decided to move closer to home and join Sutton farm family. I began my journey into becoming a Veterinary Nurse in September 2019, attending Bottle Green College. I love meeting our clients and their pets. I have a keen interest in anaesthesia and critical care. At home I have two miniature dachshund’s called Cooper and Harper who keep me busy outside of work.

Every member of staff we met or spoke to over the telephone was so lovely and helpful. Maisie, our rescued Greyhound from China had a major dental and unfortunately is left with only one tooth. My friend told us about Medivet (Sutton Farm) and how excellent Emma is and I can now understand why. Emma did an excellent job, and explained all the details to us in a very caring way. We were kept fully up to date with what was happening to Maisie while she was there, and two days after the procedure we had a phone call to check how she was doing. If we have any future problems with any of dogs we will certainly take them to Medivet.

Thanks to Emma and the team, Victor had a scale and polish yesterday! We have to admit that our efforts in brushing Victor’s teeth had dipped in recent years - so he had a build up of plaque. Fortunately, the build up was only grade 2 - so reversible. I want to say a special thanks to the team for handling the coronavirus impact - we were able to pay remotely, and drop off outside of the vets etc. THANK YOU.
