Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Messina, Italy Vet School in 2005 and after two years moved to Leicester. Since then I've worked in busy small animal practices in the Midlands before joining Medivet in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery with particular interest in dermatology. My passion for treating skin conditions led me to undertake further studies and gaining a certificate in 2017. When not working I enjoy family time, playing basketball and football with my son, photography, gardening and walking in the countryside.

I've been in the veterinary industry for 10 years and my main interests are emergency care, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. I'm the clinical director for the Thurmaston and Syston branches and previously worked at Medivet 24 Hour Birstall. Outside of work you can find me walking and training my crazy springer spaniels, Murphy and Paddy, or riding in the Leicestershire countryside. I also enjoy travelling and visited Australia and New Zealand in 2018 where I taught American veterinary students and went skydiving.
