I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College London (RVC) in 2019 and joined the Wantage team permanently in March 2021. I have a particular passion for surgery. Outside of work, I enjoy attending rock concerts, theatre shows and cinema screenings. I also play guitar, am a member of a choir and like to unwind by reading, cooking and bullet journaling. I have a tabby and white cat named Lennon, who first arrived at the practice as a stray and needed surgery to fix his dislocated hip. He’s made an excellent recovery and has been keeping my partner Chris and I on our toes ever since!

I joined the team here in 2008, qualifying as a Registered Nurse and taking on the role of Head Nurse in 2012. I love how diverse my job is, with every day presenting a new challenge. I have a particular interest in anaesthesia and in 2018 completed a Nursing Certificate in Anaesthesia. When not at work I love taking my rescue staffy Billy for long walks along the Ridgeway. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

I joined Medivet in July 2018, prior to this I was initially studying Biochemistry at Warwick University, but left this to pursue my passion in veterinary nursing. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in November 2022 and have a keen interest in the laboratory side of my job and enjoy running a variety of in-house tests. Outside of this I enjoy spending time with the family chihuahua, Dolly.

I began working for Medivet in 2017 at the Richmond 24-hour centre in London. After moving back home to Oxfordshire, I worked in a number of different practices before joining the Wantage team. I qualified at the beginning of 2021 and am very excited to be starting my career as an RVN! I am particularly interested in emergency and critical care, and also enjoy surgical nursing. I currently have a playful black and white cat called Hemlock.

I originally joined Danetree in 1987 as a trainee veterinary nurse. My role within the practice changed in 1990 when initially I became the farm animal receptionist and then went on to become the office manager at the Faringdon branch. I am now working part time as a client care assistant here at Wantage

After a slightly varied career, I began working for Day and Partners (which very shortly changed to Danetree Veterinary Surgeons) in 1995. I qualified as a veterinary nurse from Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1998. I left Danetree in 2001 and took two years out on maternity leave, returning as a part-time receptionist in 2003. In practice I deal with all the insurance claims so you'll usually find me surrounded by a pile of paper work!

Our Vet, Andre, explained everything to us as new cat owners and was wonderful with our kitten, All staff were very friendly and the waiting area had a separate cat room.

Excellent empathetic care, when we needed an urgent appointment as we were very worried about our Corgi. Caring attention for the vet, who really listened and understood the issues, examined thoroughly and recommended next steps for diagnosis. Great service!

Would leave 0 stars if possible. The vet Nimmi is nothing more than a Google practitioner for animals. I called up first thing this morning about our pups separation anxiety, to be given an appointment with Nimmi, who in her words ‘only studied one term of separation anxiety at uni 15 years ago’ and that she would have to do some research and call us back. We paid £53 for this, to be told she had to Google it…do you idiots not think we have not already done that? Absolutely APPALLED at this shocking service. When I called up describing our pups ‘behavioural issues’ they should have appointed us a vet that had experience in this. Time to send your vets back to uni. 👍

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank the team at Medivet Wantage for such kind compassionate care. I know that as an owner end of life care is not the subject we want to think about but under the circumstances this team has been fantastic. With many supportive phone calls and even a home visit on the day. Daniel gave my poor boy the most calm and peaceful goodbye. Not only did I feel that my dog was looked after but myself also. I can only thank the team for their exceptional care at one of the most difficult times.
