I was unfortunately compelled to utilize my local vet clinic after it was acquired by Medivet, and my experience left much to be desired. It's disheartening to say the least, as I've heard numerous stories about this clinic attempting to take advantage of its customers, and my own experience validated these concerns. My visit was prompted by my dog displaying signs of infection. However, the clinic recommended an unnecessary stomach operation and tests to identify any potential organ issues or stomach growths. The price tag for these procedures was an astonishing £2000. Prior to this, we had already been charged £350 for an unnecessary x-ray, and to make matters worse, we were not even shown the results of the x-ray. When we expressed reluctance to proceed with further costly and potentially unnecessary treatments, the clinic refused to provide medication to address the infection. In the end, we had to seek treatment for our dog's infection at a different facility. The entire experience was not only financially burdensome but also deeply concerning, as it appeared that the clinic prioritized profit over the welfare of our beloved pet. Despite our efforts to voice our concerns and complaints, it seems that the clinic's narrative has significantly evolved since our visit. In light of these experiences, I strongly recommend avoiding this veterinary clinic at all costs. They seem to lack genuine care and concern for your pets and are more interested in maximizing their profits, which is a disheartening departure from the compassionate care we expect from veterinary professionals.

Medivet vets and staff are always very caring. At Mill Green I have no complains, they always checking if the pet is well. And it's always easy to book an appointment when calling.

For the past 7 years our dog has ‘enjoyed’ the services that this practice delivers, from early puppy care including through her neutering to emergency care and regular check ups. They are always friendly even when faced with a very vocal large breed. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Following the passing of my cat Cardinal Fang, it was his time and they explained everything in detail and left me with the last memory of him eating a treat from my hand. The card that arrived after was greatly appreciated Thank you 😊

Caused unnecessary trauma to my cat as they didn't listen to my mother on what appointment she needed so they booked one anyway of which they couldn't do anything so now my cat is covered in her pee and stressed out her mind because the people who work here didn't listen. Thank you for nothing
